This is my working model on the colour wheel expansion! I hope it helps visualise what might be going on and where new colours might end up. The layout on the FR post is very confusing to me. 

It’s based on a grid like this, which seems to be the best fit. It’s possible that this grid is wrong and that there might be more (or fewer!) new colours, no real way to tell yet. 

I’ll edit this post whenever I have updates!

Almost three hours to brew 20 Sprockets? Seriously? Why?

It wouldn’t be so bad if it hadn’t been four thousand million years since we last got a Baldwin level, but the ~*increased EXP*~ is just going into the aether, as usual.

Oh shit, I just noticed they increased it to three hours to brew 20. (Plus if you wanted to get the components yourself you could tack on approx another hour.)

Ummm… lame.

I know a lot of people are not at the level cap right now, but I am, so any exp etc is completely worthless to me. Meanwhile I could probably get those same 20 sprockets in 20 minutes while grinding the coli. Sure, the 3 hour brewing is a passive thing to be doing in the background but it’s honestly not really worth it? (Obviously it’s nice to have for people who might not be able to coli or whatever, but… eh..)

That and like, look at the recipe for 5 sprockets. An hour brewing time and three separate yellow materials. Which are not that hard to get, but it’s also random, so if you don’t buy them or flat out have them then it’s just… honestly it’s not a very useful recipe when it’s easier to get the base apparel/familiar materials instead?

Once again I doubt they play their own game/realize what festival grinding is actually like.

like I guess technically, under the definition of “not a constructive post”, you could call it shitposting, but only if you hold that opinion of this awareness raising/information providing. And it’s definitely not in the spirit of shitposting.

shitposting is low-content/low-effort posting. it can border on trolling, esp. if you do it to people who care a lot about something and you respond with something that basically invalidates what they say like “that’s cool brah”

the most common type of shitposting usually involves the all-lowercase, minimal punctuation style of writing but it doesn’t have to be (and not all writing like that is a shitpost - for example this reblog is all lowercase etc but it’s actually explaining a subject so it’s not a shitpost).

imo shitposting is super obvious but i guess a lot of people either don’t recognize it or don’t know how to deal with it (which is usually to ignore it instead of actually trying to tackle it head-on, much like trolling. or you can join in on the fun!)

2013 Sprites

I want everyone that thinks the 2013 Sprites should be reintroduced to the site to GTFO and shut up. No. You either were there for them, you work for them like everyone else that wasn’t, or you get /nothing/ and like it. You don’t DESERVE HANDOUTS. Stop trying to ruin veteran and hardworking players’ experiences and treats because you want to sit on your ass and have it handed to you. Fuck all of you, honestly. And I swear to god if they are ever brought back out of retirement and tank everyone’s investment and the exclusivity of owning them (which, yeah, is fucking awesome and cry more that you don’t get to be a part of it) I will shit a million bricks and no one will hear the end of it. The staff just needs to close the Suggestion thread, it’s abysmal and I’m sick of pissants trying to get something for nothing.

I 100% agree with this.

I wasn’t around when the Light, Fire, or any sprites until Shadow were released (had an account since that october, didn’t bother with festivals). Since then, I’ve managed to get one of every single sprite, sometimes more.

For those joining now, with prices inflated, as I know this would be a rebuttal: I’ve had an accent shop running well for about two months. Saving most of the gems I’ve earned from it, I could afford another Light sprite right now if I wanted to.

You want something, you work, and you learn how to save.
