How…would you start a confessing a secrret without sounding shocking? Oh, because he couldn’t just spit that he’s the God of the underworld right? Vanitas wouldn’t believe that, haha, hell no—Lian’s body felt tensed, the raven didn’t know where he could start talking. Fingers tangled around his boyfriend’s fingers, squeezing them lightly, holding his warm hand for support; somehow he will be able to say it. “well, uh—you noticed it, right? that I’m not a normal…human, whatever, I’m not human actually.” he felt a knot inside his throat after saying that insignificat sentence, but that was a good start, right? now, he was searching for a reaction, he was desperated to know if Vanitas would believe him and he would accept him—because yeah, he wouldn’t blame him if…after confessing his real identity, he would leave him…

Blinking   as   Lian   spoke  ,   Vanitas   could   feel   the   tension   coming   off   his   partner   in   waves  ,   &   he   couldn’t   blame   him  .   This  ....   was   going   to   be   a   very   peculiar   &  rare   conversation  ,   that   was   for   sure  .   Wanting   the   other   to   recognize   his   support  ,   a   smile   touched   his   lips   as   he   gave   a   soft   nod  .   “   Yeah  ....   I’d   be   lying   if   I   said   I   hadn’t   noticed   something   was   different   about   you  ....   ”   &   different   wasn’t   bad  ,   &   even   though   Lian   had   hurt   him   in   the   past  ,   scared   him   too  ,   Vanitas   stayed  .   Trusted  .   &   he   hoped   that   trust   wouldn’t   vanish   after   this   conversation  ....
