Dusk tried to play everything off as thought it were nothing. She had been hiding away her scares for a long enough time to learn not to make a big deal out of it.
Now, although she had already checked most of the traps today, Dusk had no desire to be at the camp. She had been trying to keep on top of things so that she didn’t get too many questions from Dawn. So, despite never speaking much to the girl across from her, she decided to make an offer. “If you need any help, I have time.”
It was a surprising suggestion, but one that Flicker welcomed (although she tried not to let that show in her expression). Having been an awkward and quiet child, Flicker hadn’t had all that many friends, in her old life. As a result, she didn’t really know how to connect with people her own age and most of the girls left her alone. But even just hunting with someone would be a start. Flicker nodded, jerking her head towards where she’d been making towards. “I was going to travel East.”
