Dragon Hoards

A dragon is nothing without its hoard. Upon realizing that Swordfish takes a different approach to accumulating tons of treasure, by taking a trip to the nearby swamps!

Also, I made a Patreon page! It’s still fresh out the oven so right now there’s one comic featuring one of the dragons, but I am going to upload more Patreon-exclusive comics there + some other secret stuff. re:plague aesthetic and phobias

I really wish we could have something along the lines of a “skin censor” button, like something that individual players can use to keep certain skins from showing up on dragons. I know it would be a fairly silly and perhaps pointless feature given the sheer number of skins in existence and how you’d still have to expose yourself to them to turn them off, etc… But when you’ve got a whole Flight whose aesthetic is so trigger-prone, I don’t think it’s a terrible idea.

I just don’t think it’s very fair to Plague that they have to have their deal so heavily downgraded. I’m a firm believer that one’s fun shouldn’t come at another’s expense, but it just kinda blows. I’m not even in Plague.

Hey it’s me, the op, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man Loblolly. Now from this I’m sure you’re all convinced of what a terrible person I am. And if that’s the case, I probably won’t be able to change your minds, but I would still like to clear up a few things. 

I have, lets call it a condition, that sometimes really makes me come off as an asshole with zero social skills. Something I’m really working on, but sometimes stuff like this slips through the cracks. And what tends to happen is I’m too honest about what I’m thinking, without awareness for if its rude or not. And without really even thinking to just not say anything at all. Plus sometimes balking at rules simply because they’re rules. But after a little I tend to realize my mistake one way or another, and delete the comment. Which is what happened in this situation. 

An excuse? Not at all, simply an explanation. I don’t think people have to like the things I like, or like me, and in the end I don’t even join group chats anyways due to my tendency towards oversharing. So none of you need fear running into me.  

Honestly you can all think whatever you want about me, I just really hope you don’t think that because people have an interest in horror that you can somehow tell they’re 100% a terrible person from just that. 

My gf introduced me to horror, and she’s the best person I’ve ever known. That’s the only part about all this that really upsets me is dragging her into this as if she’s some sort of accomplice to something awful. The whole truth about the ping list is I am genuinely clumsy with pings and coding and didn’t want to accidentally ping the wrong people. So she was sweet as usual, and did it for me. 

So please don’t let how you view me, affect how you see her. Because she’s amazing, makes awesome art, and is always really helpful to anyone who needs it. Plus she’s funny as hell. 

Bottom line is, I’m sorry, and thanks for giving this a read.

Honestly, this just makes me sad. This kid is gonna look back in a few years and cringe so hard. I don’t think there’s any point trying to have a reasonable discussion about it any more, because the harder we insist it’s fucked up, the edgier and more cool they’ll feel, as if they’re rebelling from the societies rules or something. I just hope in a few years they’ll look back and understand the issue better and why so many people are quite rightly horrified by it all.
