Ouneko // Zeno and Jae-ha
"Eh? Zeno hasn’t been blushing! Ryokuryuu must be imagining things!" He panics a little internally. "Ah— Unless…Ryokuryuu wants to make Zeno blush on purpose! Ryokuryuu must have a crush on Zeno even though he pretends to hate Zeno’s guts!"
This realization makes him light up, trying to keep the act going to hide the rapid beating of his heart. But then the splash strikes his face, and he lets out a strange, “Ungya!” sound as he stumbles back and wipes furiously at his eyes. A critical hit.
But when he moves his hands away, his eyes are playfully serious. “Ryokuryuu wants to battle, eh? Okay! Splash attack, gooooo!” He moves his arms back dramatically before pushing out in a wave, getting Jae-ha’s chest before he cackles and swims away to take advantage of his better speed.
"This is a battle Ryokuryuu will never win! Zeno is an amazing splasher!"
Jae-ha lets the splash hit him, but it’s not because he’s playing nice. What Zeno said before catches him off guard, and he still looks startled even as the other swims away from him. “Whu?”
“Pretend to hate you? Crush? I never said...” He blinks for a few moments before he realizes that was part of Zeno’s plan and he relaxes immediately. “Ah-- Alright~ If that’s the way you want it, Zeno~!”
He chuckles a little darkly before takes a deep breath, dipping his head under water. It’s true that Jae-ha’s leg made it hard to swim in the water... But he’s learned to hold his breath well because of it. That, and he knows how to block his presence to keep the other dragons from knowing where he is.
If I can’t attack him directly... I’ll just sneak up instead!
