NEW: Here are all my Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly enamel pins. Clockwise from upper left: 

Yellow morph, 

Dark morph (displaying mimicry of the pipevine swallowtail), 

Mosaic gynandromorph (random male and female cells, intersex), 

Bilateral gynandromorph (evenly split down the middle male and female cells, intersex.

Lake Ontario - I don’t live that far from the lake. It’s literally a 10 minute drive away. I don’t always get to go. It was chilly out today. But still as beautiful as ever!

I feel like I took a lot of petals off the flower but the flower still looked pretty full!! 🤣

Cut the stems short because I couldn’t bear to cut the buds by cutting longer ones. 🤣

I couldn’t bear to just toss the flower. I had the carnation for over a week before I used it for the photoshoot. Very surprised I was able to keep it alive but I did trim the stem every couple of days and renewed the water with plant food. This colour was too beautiful.
