It is the 1st of May, it's always the flowers that can tell.
Each summer passes by so fast here that I collect plants as memories, to dry and press between book pages. I've been doing this since I was a little girl. I still find old pressed plants between books from years, sometimes even a decade ago. I also do this in autumn, to preserve the colours of ruska.
Sorry but how is getting flowers ever good enough? Like. I can get you flowers and then we can Hang Out??? Why stop at the flowers, there’s so much more to do together After that?????
First of all: the flowers have to be Arranged? Like, they’re not properly arranged when you get them. You have to take off leaves, trim the ends, water them, rearrange to your/your partners liking.
Second of all: the flowers can be dried out or they can be decoration. I prefer drying out cause then they last for a while/forever + they can be nice wall decor. PLUS I can press one of the flowers for a lil scrapbook/journal thing.
THIRD of all: you can do all of step 2 WITH your partner and make it a date night? Maybe get some food, a movie, a couple different sets of flowers and Enjoy the moment???
ALSO ALSO this isn’t a Romance Only kinda thing??? Get your friends flowers you guys. Spend a day just having fun and hanging out and playing with flowers.
