it seemed like her heart was about to jump right out of her chest && she tried hard to control her breathing while strolling through the long corridors of the academy. god, how would she break the news to him?? ’hey noah, i’m leaving you. maybe forever. see ya!!’ sure, that would work.

things had been going so well after her lost of memory. it really seemed like an evil that came for greater good. she was happy and blissfully in love. poor foolish girl. she should have known. known that good things never last. at least not to people like them. “i have an urgent matter to solve and it’s just—no, no, no— noah, i’m sorry but—” sophia rehearsed the lines as if it would make them sound more truthful. of course none of it was. but how could she look at him while saying the truth?? how would she tell him that she was leaving to join the organization that destroyed their siblings’ life?? how would she said those words, while staring into his warm eyes and still call herself human?? 

OH, but that was just it. she wasn’t human. && recently it seemed like she couldn’t hide the greed creeping into the monster she was slowly becoming. what a fucking shame. she always wanted to touch life so bad. why couldn’t she give it a rest?? “noah, i’m sorry but i have—” she kept on saying the same nonsense while standing in front of his door. she wanted to knock and be done with it, but her fear was greater. the fear of seeing hate in his soft eyes. the fear of losing him forever. but still she knocked && prayed for the best. if that was even possible for her.

NOAH found himself humming a little tune under his breath while he made his way back to his dorm. He couldn’t help it. Life had been going so well recently. He had tons of friends, he found a long lost brother who he got along with splendidly and then there was Sophia. 

Noah wasn’t honestly sure what the situation with him and Sophia was at the moment but things were going better than ever before. She didn’t have a boyfriend anymore and he didn’t have a girlfriend anymore. Their flirting was a lot more open now and honestly, he could kind of see them making it official some time soon. It was truly a wonderful time to be Noah Adams. 

He was coming back from getting some food with Isaac and Adam so the sight of the pretty brunette at his door was very welcome. He heard her mumble to herself but didn’t pay too much attention to it. It wasn’t as if mumbling was anything new to either one of them. He snuck up behind her as she knocked on the door before his hands suddenly wrapped around her. “Boo,” he whispered against her ear in an attempt to scare her.

   Lydia knew Stiles, and the smile he gave her was nothing short of a failed attempt at being okay. It wasn’t even a good fake smile. She wasn’t going to make a big deal of it though. They all had moments, all had times where things were hard. Living through what they had was something that messed with a person a bit. Though she did want to keep a closer eye on him these days. 

   Walking with her friends she looked at Scott and then Stiles, biting on her lips slightly with the tilt of her head. “I would…except I mean…I am kinda worried too. If this was the first time I wouldn’t be to concerned about it, but this has happened a couple times in class. If you would tell us what the nightmare was then maybe we could help. I don’t know why you won’t tell us.” It wasn’t like they couldn’t handle it. Life was a nightmare itself, what could he dream up that could be any worse then what they have actually experienced.

He let out a long drawn out sigh when Lydia seemed to take Scott’s side. He really didn’t think this was such a big deal. He was just a bit tired. Maybe he’d been spending too much time trying to solve all the crazy adventures they seemed to go on. “Relax guys, I’m fine! It’s just a nightmare. I honestly can’t even remember what it was about,” he replied with a shrug. It wasn’t a complete lie. He couldn’t remember the context but he could remember the feeling of dread, panic and oddly satisfaction. 

When he started to think about it though, that’s when he noticed a mild headache start to form. He tried shaking it off but every time he did, it got worse. “I’ll see you guys in a bit, I gotta go to the bathroom,” he declared, rubbing his temples to try and make the pain subside.

    The screaming was a concern. Falling asleep in class was one thing, but screaming and waking up with a look as if you had just seen a ghost was another. There was no lack of weird in their lives, but the way Stiles had been acting lately was something in itself to be concerned about. It wasn’t the first time this had happened in class – and she felt it wouldn’t be the last. Reaching over from the desk behind him, Lydia brushed her hand against his trying to do whatever she could to reassure him that he was okay. She was there, Scott was there and whatever nightmare that was going on inside his mind was nothing but that. A nightmare.

When he felt a hand brush against his own, Stiles turned to look behind him, offering Lydia the same smile he did to Scott. It was just a bad dream. They didn’t have to worry about him. He knew he was fine. But when the teacher gave him a concerned look, he knew he probably screamed or jerked awake in an obviously distraught manner. Naturally, he decided that the best way to deal with it was to pay attention in class and act like nothing ever happened. Doing so thankfully made the class go by a lot faster. 

“I’m fine Scott,” he assured the brunette for the millionth time, holding his hands up in defense. He didn’t need to be babied. He’d tangled with tons of threats already despite being one hundred percent human. “Will you tell him that he’s worrying too much?” He asked, gesturing to the redhead beside him.

B L O O D. There was lots of it. Too much of it. And the screaming. Oh God, the screaming was deafening. A part of him just wanted to cup his hands over his ears and run away until he couldn’t hear it anymore. But there was another part of him. A part of him that relished in the sound he could force from another person. A part of him that wanted to force more of the sound out until there was nothing left to give. 

And that’s when he woke up. As he turned to and fro, all he could see were the confused faces of his classmates. He’d fallen asleep in class again. This was really beginning to become a problem. He looked over to see the concerned look that Scott gave him, matching it with what he hoped was a reassuring smile.

After a moment she decided to let the boy go in case she was squeezing the very life out of him. Sometimes Kara still didn’t realize the extent of her strength. Her arm went to her sides as she looked at him for a second with a huge smile on her face. She hadn’t really realized how much she missed him until now when she was standing in front of her. “You made quite the impression on me as well. I mean believe it or not I missed you too and have no intention of crushing you with giant rocks…sorry about that.” Kara laughed nervously, looking down then back up at him.

Barry wasn’t planning on saying anything since it wasn’t too bad but the girl’s arms did start to get a bit tight so he breathed out a sigh of relief when she finally let him go. He was already smiling but the sight of the smile on her face forced his to grow larger. Her happiness seemed infectious. “When you’re like me, you tend to leave big impressions wherever you go,” he replied shooting her a playful wink. “Don’t worry about the rocks. An explanation would be nice though. Did you just decided to work out using huge boulders or...?” He trailed off, waiting for her to fill in the blanks. 

Rolling her eyes a little she giggled and smacked his arm, enough to make him falter a bit. “Sorry!” She squeaked out, rubbing the spot that she hit. “Good thing you heal pretty quickly right?” Kara teased biting her lip with another smile. It was kinda funny. “I guess I leave impressions as well. Painful ones.” At the mention of the boulders she shrugged slightly. “Alex suggested I do something to de-stress myself. I guess they are my way of working out Instead of a punching bag I use thousand pound rocks.”

Sipping on her drink that she just go handed, she bit her lip hearing a voice nearby. Rolling her eyes she laughed a little. Beth was a beautiful girl and she knew that. So having guys come up to her, trying to flirt with her, dance with her..etc; it wasn’t new. Turning in the dark club she saw a boy under the faint strobbing lights and placed a hand on her hip, tilting her head to the side. “I know they are. What are you, the exception? Or are you just another one of those assholes and can own up to it. I mean at least that I can have a little respect for.”

The lighting in the club was horrible so Adam couldn’t get a good look at the brunette but from the faint glimpses he got, he could be sure that she was gorgeous. Her little reply to his comment had him shooting a mega-watt grin her way before he shrugged and stuffed his hands into his pockets. “Oh, I’m the biggest asshole you’ll meet but I feel like we assholes are more fun that our counterparts,” he offered before holding out a hand for her. “I’m Adam.” 

His reply to her comment made her smile. A real big smile. Not many of the ‘assholes’ in here could actually do that. “Well than I suppose since you know you are an asshole that makes you less of one…right? the biggest assholes are the ones who don’t admit it.” She was about to say something else when he introduced himself, causing her to stop everything. Walking forward Bethany got into a little better lighting, a little closer to the handsome boy. Adam…her or well – at least he used to be her Adam. “Adam?” She got a close up look at him, running her fingers back through her hair to get the dark curls out of her face.

   Giggling when she saw him, Kara landed on her feet in front of the boy, jumping into his arms with an excited little screech. She wasn’t sure if she would ever seem him again..and honest was missing him a bit. It didn’t take long, but they had bonded. Kara only had one person who really understood her, really got what she was going through and that was her cousin. A person she didn’t get to see all that much. Being around Barry though made her feel..not so alone in the sense of what she was. “Missed me so much you decide to go universe hoppin’ again?” The girl teased with a smile.

Barry finally let out the laugh that he’d been holding back when she jumped into his arms. After dealing with multiverse threatening psychopaths, too many deaths to handle and time travelling villains, a hug from someone who was genuinely excited to see him was exactly what he needed. Kara was a friendly face who he could relate to and that was someone he could use. Sure he had Jay to talk to but he couldn’t face him without being reminded of his father. And Oliver just didn’t see the world in the same way that Barry did. “Can you really blame me? You made quite an impression on me,” he teased. “Although, if I knew that I’d be attacked by falling boulders, I might have thought otherwise.”

Bethany was never one to go clubbing, or drink, or do well..crazy things. That was when she was younger and really cared about everything people thought about her. Now she didn’t care/ She was living her life, she was free and happy and no longer holding back when she wanted something. She had to power to get what she wanted, and she used it. So when she was in the middle of the dance floor with her friends and a guy seemed not to get the hint that she didn’t want him rubbing all up on her? Well she made him see it clearly. “I said leave me alone. That means GO AWAY.” She stared at him, her friends laughing at her side. With that he suddenly was walking away with a very confused look on his face,  towards the door well- against his own will. He wouldn’t be bothering her anymore. Turning back to her friends she smiled sweetly and went back to dancing, but not before forcing somebody to go get her and her friends some free drinks.

It was just another night for Adam. He’d finished collecting some debts with his boys and then they’d decided to celebrate by going to a club. It wasn’t really Adam’s ideal hangout spot but his crew seemed to be having fun so he wasn’t too bothered. He’d looked around, trying to find some way to entertain himself when he noticed a brunette dancing in the middle of the dancefloor. He couldn’t see her face but from what he did see, he liked her. After downing his drink, he made his way up to her, just to see her shoo off a guy that tried to dance with her. “That guy was probably an asshole. Most guys here are,” he mentioned offhandedly when he got within earshot of her.

     Kara spotted the boulder and was about to run and grab it when she heard some yell out, and spotted a body right under where the giant rock was falling. “Oh my god!” Within a millisecond she had gotten over to grab the rock…but the person was gone, leaving a trail of smoldering grass in their wake. There was only one person who would have been able to get out of the way that quickly. Tossing the rock aside Kara spun around, looking for the familiar red suit. “Is that you Scarlet Speedster?!” Kara yelled out with a smile, hovering up above the ground to get a better view of her surroundings.

As soon as he heard the familiar voice, a grin made its way onto Barry’s face. It was good to know that he wasn’t in a completely new place. “Who else would it be Girl of Steel?” Barry asked, super-speeding out in the open to get a good look at the girl. She didn’t look that different. But then again, it wasn’t really that long ago that he saw her. “So...do I get a hug or...?” He trailed off, trying to hold back a laugh.

     Kara had been dealing with a lot lately. Things weren’t going her way. Not as Supergirl…but as Kara. She just felt like the weight of the world was literally on her shoulders…and usually she was pretty good with carrying heavy things. So her sister suggested she let off some steam. So there she was, tossing boulders in the middle of nowhere, trying to let out some frustration when suddenly she heard a boom, or a rumble – something that was out of the ordinary and it actually scared her enough to make her throw one of the boulders she was holding into the air. “Oh god, where did it go.” She stated looking around for the giant bolder that hopefully wouldn’t land on anything important…or hit something in the air…like a plane.

Barry really needed a break. No matter what he was doing, it seemed as if he couldn’t catch a break. He may have been able to stop Zoom but that came at a steep price. The multiverse was safe but he was effectively alone now. No parents, no friends, nothing. It was times like these where he just ran. He didn’t care where he ended up, he just let himself go as fast as possible. Unfortunately, being the fastest man alive meant that simply running had the potential to lead him to awful situations. Which is exactly what he was faced with now. Laying on his back in the middle of nowhere with a giant boulder headed straight for him. “Eep!” He squealed before super-speeding away from his position as a target to the giant rock. “That could’ve gone...better....” He mumbled.

’ wrong, i’ll definitely die before you. children are supposed to bury their parents, that’s how life goes. you fought and won. your brother is a good thing and he was by your side when your lost your mother. all of us were. i know that doesn’t make it any less awful, but you can’t let it change you. — you can’t let these things destroy you. that would be great to get my mind off of things but if you’re going to run to a bottle after i turn my back then it doen’t make me feel better. ’

“How would you know that? Just because I’m supposed to be be the one that buries her, it doesn’t make it any fucking easier... I’m sorry, that was uncalled for... I did win but it changed me and I love Isaac but he’s convinced that he can save me from myself and it’s just gotten annoying. I don’t need someone to save me, I just need my space. ---Anyway, we aren’t talking about me. We were talking about you and your hand... I promise that while we’re in my room, I won’t run to the bottle.”

’ let’s cut the bullshit. even if you didn’t know they were taking me back— why didn’t you look for me?? why didn’t you do anything when i disappeared for years?? would it have been too much of a goddamn waste of your precious life to spare five minutes to get me out of that hell??’ her voice got higher with each word, and there was venom in every single thing that left her lips. ’ would it?? ’ this time she was yelling and even though she knew people couldnt hear about the order, at that moment, the girl couldnt care less.

“I know we haven’t gotten along very well over the past few years and I know that a big part of that is my fault but do you really think that I’d let you suffer there alone if I knew? When people leave, I don’t know what to make of it okay? My mother and you are the only people that have ever left. My mother wasn’t coming back so I guess I just thought that you wouldn’t either.” His words got quieter as they kept tumbling out of his mouth. He’d annoyed Nicole many times but this seemed to be the only time that she actually genuinely got mad. “I tried calling...” He offered weakly.

I fought my dark side, found out I had a brother, lost my mother, life’s just a big ol’ shit whole sometimes. ----Good. That’s all I ask. If I can’t help my friends then what use am I at all? Fine then, we don’t have to get a drink. We can just go to my room and watch Disney movies. How’s that sound?”

“Great... that’s something to look forward too... No one stays naive for that long Gem. Life has a way of making sure that people know how hard it can be very easily. I’m actually a bit younger than Soph. I’m not really too much older than Adam actually but I guess that would still put a few months between me and you....anyway, that’s not the point. The point is, you should’ve called me for help. Who wants to be a normal person? Normal is boring. Drinks are how people usually try and take their minds of things but we can get pizza too. Pizza and beer is a wonderful combination. ---Is it that weird for me to offer you a drink?”
