I wanna know more about the general cultures and vibes of the different witch covens. Also, what's this war that they're fighting? I saw in the world building post that the different zones are more or less warlike and closer to violence, but who's the enemy? What's the cause of that?

There are two things!
1. Other witches
In old Minecraft, Witches actually attacked each other! And it made me think that Witches had a sort of “everyone for themselves” anarchy in the beginning. No witch actually liked each other unless it was family.
As witches started joining forces and making peace, they started establishing groups, teams, and therefor, covens and coven heads.
Zeus was the first coven to start cooperating with each other, and it started to further spread into neighboring factions, starting a domino effect that is still toppling in present day.
(Reference again for yall’s convenience):
Zeus through time has started being “THE BIG THING” or “the coven that started it all”, becoming a hot spot for witches to move in for better life.
Through time, Zeus just become harder and harder to go through with bigger security and important witches. I guess you can say it was getting more expensive to live there..
This started a sort of capitalist Society in the Zeus coven.
2. illagers
Illagers and Witches were not at the best of terms <:')
Only very recently did Athena and Ares even begin to make peace with the Illagers in their area. Erma was assigned to Lawrence to learn to work together and be stronger allies.
Erma was so passive aggressive to Lawrence back then because she was assigned to him. It was the council's decision in order to make a closer allyship with Illagers.. She didn't trust "people like them" and for all she knows it was a suicide mission. She did it for her people. But through time it did work. And more and more Clans have started partnering up and making peace in the Athena coven.
Meanwhile Ares is still in shambles after Sheldon left... Theyre still similar to Athena, but Ares was the second most unstable coven above Hades... Illager clans there, are still fighting with witches.
TL:DR!
Who: Illagers and other witches
Why: For multiple reasons. Territory? Independence? Rights? just generally defending their country because some people decided to be dicks? Idk, a lot of shit happen when countries are being established.
How do you think aa Witch with Holmes-Adie syndrome & Central Heterochromia would be treated? Along with a Illager who has Sectoral Heterochromia?
I'm not sure, i feel like with any physical difference the reaction to it would vary.

This is Melissa Pecchia! She goes by Mel. She’s a witch from the Coven of Apollo, she’s an adult but she’s not old enough for a gem, and she has a bee familiar!
Mel watches over this lush, fenced in garden/orchard situated a little ways away from the nearby towns. It is also absolutely covered in beehives. She’s happy to let people come in and take from the garden, but the rule is that you have to re-plant and treat the area with respect or else she’ll get mad and curse you. Aside from that, she’s generally friendly and energetic. She also likes flowers, and will pretty much stuff them anywhere she can.
(side-note: I was supposed to just make one yellow witch for fun but then i started having ideas for a whole Pecchia family and what their deal is woops.)

So i love making ocs, and i love the pokemon world, and recently, @prof-peach has been supercharging both those interest with her amazing content and openness to ocs. So here’s my first attempt: Ms. Manchineel
ROLE: Manchineel is a poison type specialist with a masters in toxicology, who studies different types of natural toxins and the ways they effect Pokémon and people. She uses her knowledge to study possible cures, antidotes and treatments, as well as simply for the sake of knowing more about how these substances come into play in the wild and domestic lives of Pokémon. I have no idea whether prof peach and prof grey have use for a toxicologist, but i imagine that if she worked on the island she’d do so mostly in a lab. She could probably also be seen collecting samples in the greenhouse or in the forest. On rare occasions, she probably responds to poison related incidents, as she has first aid knowledge and knows well how to identify the symptoms of different toxins.
BACKROUND: Manchineel is in her late 40s, and lived most of her life in Unova. She’s also an ex-con, who spent upwards of 20 years in prison, on charges of battery-assault with a deadly weapon. (i have two possible stories for exactly what happened, but basically she beat someone with wrench a after witnessing them commit Pokémon abuse.) This happened in her very early twenties, before she could finish her doctorate. Now she’s out, and looking to either get employed or get into a doctorate program, both of which she’s finding very difficult. before her arrest, she was known for being hot-headed, but a passionate student who loved working with plants and Pokémon and excelled in her field. She had been working as an intern at a clinic lab when the incident happened.
Personality/description: Manchineel is generally laid back woman with an even temperament. She can be a bit sardonic, and has a dry sense of humor. She can be kind of awkward with people she doesn’t know, being polite but curt and generally seeming like she’s trying to cut the interaction short. Otherwise, she’s agreeable, somewhat teasing, and receptive. She especially loves having conversations with people about their interests or experiences, and is always down to hear an expert ramble about their field. Oh, and she *will* make up random ridiculous stories about prison when asked about it, and will not confirm or deny whether they are true.
Pokemon:
These are her personal mons, registered to her team. Most of them help her around the lab and keep her company when she goes out for field work. While she no doubt works with a lot of poison types in the lab and around the island, these are the ones who are with her permanently.
Darts: darts is a lax toxicroak variant that's a little more based on poison dart frogs. She’s one of Manchineel’s strongest Pokémon, and can often be seen lounging around the lab. She does in fact like dartboards, and uses them both to practice her own attacks and just throwing regular darts. She’s not very aggressive, and gets along with most Pokémon, though she can be somewhat smug.
Chico: Chico is an impish salandit variant that has some more iguana like characteristics. He is always around Manchineel, either at her feet or draped over her shoulders. Often times he will whine and make grabby hands when he wants to be let up. He also licks peoples ankles in order to freak them out, and occasionally knocks things over. he likes to play, steals things and hide them, and eat. However, when it is lab time, and Manchineel needs his help, he suddenly turns on serious mode, and becomes much more well behaved.
S.V.: S.V. is an old audiono that Manchineel got through an inmate-pokemon program. From then on, S.V. became one of her closest companions, and pretty much her therapy Pokémon. When Manchineel got out, S.V. insisted on coming with her, and now she looks after Mani, her team and the lab.
Apricot: apricot is a sweet little paras, who’s kept around because of the usefulness of their aromatherapy. He helps lots in the lab, and in the gardens, enjoying the act of tending to and defending little plants. He also hangs around S.V., often seen scuttling beside her.
Petalo: Petalo is a lileep and a fairly new addition to Manchineel’s team. She’s almost entirely a lab mon that spends her time either in a tank or rooted in a wide dish of moist rocks by the door. Manchineel often takes samples of Petalo’s acid.
Manchineel loves her pokemon and loves working with them, even when they’re being somewhat of a nuisance. She keeps their pokeballs on her, just incase, but most of the time their out and about. One thing she usually makes time to do is dinner, where her team piles onto counters and chairs while she makes food for them and herself. It’s something she started after noticing that they all seemed to like to watch her cook.
All in all, Manchineel would be very happy on the island, and very, very grateful to those who accepted her in and let her stay. She’d try her best to be as helpful and diligent as possible, while hiding exactly how anxious she is to make a good impression.
