this is very specific to me as an individual but the easiest way I've found of figuring out how much of an ass a doctor is going to be is just to watch their reaction when they take my vitals. how surprised are they by a fat dude having like, textbook-perfect blood pressure, heart rate, and blood oxygenation? if they make a big deal of the numbers being good or look at the sphygmomanometer like it needs maintenance I steel myself for 15 minutes of bullshit. if they just say something blandly positive and move on, I let my guard down by 17½ percent.

There’s also a secret third type of like, the briefest blink and you miss it micro-expression of surprise followed by bland neutral or bland positive response. These can be amusing once or twice, but quickly become tiring as its clear they are operating under the same beliefs as the out and out assholes but have learned to be more subtle and passive aggressive about it, which is double bad as a multi-disabled autistic person navigating medical appointments.

I’d actually prefer a direct asshole as at least then I can go “oh I need to find a different doctor” immediately instead of dealing with mind games.

you can believe victims about what they experienced and also not want to torch the lives of the people they've accused without proof. that is a space you can walk in and usually it's not even that hard. I say this as a survivor of domestic violence. "believe victims" doesn't mean get torches and pitchforks any more than "innocent until proven guilty" means victims are lying. please please learn this "believe victims" isn't about the perpetrators it's about the victims

Are... are your organs covered in blood??? Since blood tends to flow thru the blood vessels, and if your body is healthy and all your blood vessels are imtact then your organs shouldn't be covered in blood, right? But just saying that feels wrong.

No, unless you are actively experiencing internal bleeding then your organs are not covered in blood. They are however wet, but it's cerebrospinal fluid and mucus that keeps them that way.

Trust me you do not want them to be in any other condition. If they were covered in blood then there would be no way for your body to effectively circulate that blood, leading you to bleed out. As for them being wet, I personally would not want to experience dry friction on my organs so I am more than okay with that
