Olivia When:  (Animation) Dog Thief 

Olivia When is obsessed with dogs.  Olivia is also from the South and went to school at the Maryland Institute College of Arts.  She is an accomplished illustrator and animator with a long list of high profile clients and is currently making Google Doodles for a living.  She is also obsessed with dogs.  Did I say that already?  Her adorably animated gifs capture that feeling many people get when encountering a super cute dog:  They just want to have it.  I don’t THINK she has ever actually stolen a dog, but she certainly has thought about it, and animated it, a lot.  And in an adorably illustrated and cleverly animated way.

life update?

also FINALLY, a goddamn blog revamp.

Recap: First of all, 2018 was a hell hole. I’m so glad it’s fucking over. This year 2019 was wayyyy better, although I had a fair share of breakdowns as well but these were really caused by 2018 traumas.

Life so far?

2018

Thesis defended

Graduated from my undergraduate course (thank god i thought it will never be over)

Mental health got waaayyyy toooo compromised I was not functioning!!!

Worked for an NGO advocating disaster preparedness in my region

2019

Gave research another chance, worked on a mussel project

Boom! It wasn’t for me so decided to apply for another project (terrifying decision!!) BUT I’M SO GLAD I DID APPLY

Got the job and got mentored/surrounded by some of the most brilliant and humble people!!!

Tried wall climbing and liked it (tho i still have a LOT to work on)

Tried film photography

Contributed to an art exhibit!!

Travelled!

Learned a lot

Take care of our mental health! fuck capitalism :)
