I think sev would like fantasy generally but be kind of picky about it. like I think he likes tolkien because it's both the right amount of pretentious and as far as I'm aware wizards are in their own class there so he's like nods this makes sense. but like he struggles with D&D because of the sorcerer-wizard dichotomy ("what do you mean it's 'innate' for some but others need to learn??"). aka if magic systems are too far removed from how magic really is (in hp world) he would struggle to suspend his disbelief.
however ☝️ I think he'd like scifi because it's easier to wrap his mind around and suspend his disbelief to enjoy. I think he's a lowkey whovian. I think sev saw mr. spock on star trek as a boy and something was awakened. I think he's read dune.
I have an opportunity to play my fave d&d character in a new campaign :333 I've been wanting to play her for sooo long... but I'm also trying not to get too hyped because her character hasn't been approved yet so I might have to do someone else lol. but I might get to. walks around excitedly

❤︎ scary f/o who keeps you firmly at their side, narrowing their eyes at anyone who dares look at you wrong. they're snappy, curling their lip whenever anyone gets too close, a hand on your hip holding you tight.
❤︎ people tell you to "keep your dog on a leash" when they act out, but they don't care. they'll be your guard dog even if it earns them dirty looks and glares - so long as you're safe they could care less.
❤︎ scary f/o who's shoulders visibly relax once you're in their arms or returning home. they can be paranoid, sure, but they just want to know you're safe. everything else matters little in comparison.
