Took jaina (the cat) to a different vet for a second opinion and they did a full ultrasound on her liver/abdomen, and it turns out she does not have liver problems, her intestines are just thick

She does not have liver cancer!

Bad news!

She apparently has parasites from before we yoinked her from the dumpster that the very same vet we took her to to get evaluated day one (and all the subsequent other times we've taken her in for symptoms to which said vet said, and I quote: "it's probably nothing. She seems fine") didn't seem to bother looking for until now!!!!!!! Yay!!! I'm so fucking pissed!

Either way, it's leagues more treatable than cancer and I'm just happy it isn't that.

My mom and dad are watching my cat for a while. Shes sick and my schedule cant accommodate for her consistantly dookieing on the floor or all over the rim of her litter box so my parents agreed to watch her while we work on diagnosing the problem and mom just sent me

And its not like shes stressed or agitated at my pareents house either. No pinned ears, no flicked/flicking tail, no hiding, no excessive grooming, she eats, drinks, plays with her toys, walks around their house, explores, perches, watches out windows, no apparent sign of stress whatsoever. And when shes agitated she would usually come sit and stare at me with her tail flicking, normally because i was yelling in whatever voice chat i was in and she wanted me to shut the fuck up.

She isnt instagative or hostile towards the dog nor is the dog instagative and hostile towards her (also theyre both the same size w the dog being slightly smaller). And its not like they dont know each other eigher, me and my parents live on the same property, and she hears emma barking every time they let her out and knows her scent from the many times i go over to eat with my parents or take care of her while theyre out. And theyve also socialized far more than a couple times as well so that cant be the problem

Like theres no reason OTHER than my mother obnoxiously taking a selfie next to her that shed be mad like that lol
