"It's just that..." she began, and paused, smoothing Eddie's coat with the palm of her hand. Siegfried waited. He didn't hurry her, he simply looked at her, maintaining a silent attention that he rarely demonstrated in other aspects of his life. "It's just... I'm not used to things being this easy." She finally confessed, looking at the wooden floor for just a second, before gathering the courage to hold his gaze. 

Dash is still under care, and Audrey continues to visit. This time, she meets Helen and learns more about this curious family of veterinarians.
