Lungs is Florence + the Machine's first studio album, released on July 3, 2009.
Album covers:
Both of these are marked as standard edition, but the deluxe CD and deluxe version of the album on Spotify are both the second image, darker and more green than blue-grey.
Later that year, on November 15, there was also an expanded version called Between Two Lungs which, in addition to the deluxe songs, featured a remix of Hurricane Drunk with The Horrors, 2 songs recorded live from the Hammersmith Apollo, and 6 songs recorded live from the iTunes Live: London Festival with a stylized version of the cover.
And, lastly, in 2019, Lungs got a 10 year anniversary release with this as the album cover.
The most popular song from this era was (and still is) Dog Days Are Over. As of 2025, it is Florence + the Machine's first song to reach over a billion streams on Spotify. Fun fact: the percussion in this song was made by Florence simultaneously hitting the wall in the recording studio with her fists and kicking a drum.

Not sure why there's so many repeats especially because most of them have the same thumbnail with the exception of the Drumming Song and You've Got The Love mvs. They're all also the same content-wise except for the Dog Days Are Over music videos, which are entirely different.
You've Got The Love is the only cover on this album to get a music video. The original song was by Candi Staton and was titled "You Got The Love". The other two covers are Girl With One Eye by The Ludes (from the standard edition of Lungs) and Hospital Beds by Cold War Kids (from the deluxe edition of Lungs).
Live album:
For the album's 15 year anniversary, in 2024, Florence + the Machine performed an all-orchestral arrangement of Lungs called Symphony of Lungs at the Royal Albert Hall.
Soundtrack songs:
Florence + the Machine didn't create any songs specifically for soundtracks during the Lungs era, but Heavy In Your Arms was on the soundtrack of the second Twilight movie, Twilight: Eclipse. The music video for this song is on the official Eclipse YouTube channel but not on the FATM one.

The song Kiss With A Fist was originally titled Happy Slap.
One of Florence's tattoos, the bird cage on her right middle finger, was inspired by the song Bird Song from the Lungs album.
