So because of the buttercups infecting friskās body she was too weak to begin with to try and leave the underground, flowey guiding her or at least doing his bestā¦as time passed underground frisk slowly became weaker and bein pregnant didnāt help either, flowery then tried to break the barrier on his own knowing frisk needed help and didnāt wanna see another human die of something that could have maybe been helped.. but instead somthin else happened, a corruption..a hunger.. as the underground slowly began to fall in dispare over the next 5 months sans left to see what was happening and unannounced to him frisk went into labor, as time passed sans felt something was wrong and went home to find frisk on the ground in pain, he quickly picked her up teleporting off to the lab where alphys was, sadly she passed giving birth to her children her soul and body being too weak to handle the pain. Sans was devastated but cradled his two children tending to them with care.
As 10 years passed the underground slowly grew more and more corrupted he slowly grew more unhinged and protective of vivaldi seeing the flowers bloom on her body like his wife.. and he didnāt want the same thing happening
(I changed the lore a bit because I felt if frisk went to the surface in this state she probably would have been killed or locked up like some exhibit creature being treated poorly meaning the kids wouldnāt exist regardless and the underground would be left to rot until another soul unexpectedly fell)

Papyrus - after frisks passing and the underground slowly began to fall apart he slowly went insane, more dangerous and sans wouldnāt let him near the kids..papyrus really wouldnāt mean to, he didnāt really want to but when playing with the kids he would get too rough, too..dangerous with his magicā¦..poor Vivaldi sadly was the weaker one and always a little late to dodge his attacks each time she died quickly waking up screaming in agony her body normal but a new flower bloomed where she was injured and killed, not waking up like a reset but instead waking up like a bad nightmare, she couldnāt count how many of her sweaters had been stained with blood and her brother having to take out the bone or whatever papyrus used, and watching her body heal itselfā¦.sans was furious by this and every time papyrus tried playing with them sans would start getting aggressive, growling and keeping between him and the kids, he almost killed papyrus a couple of times due to how violent their fights would getā¦but he would do everything in his power to make sure his kids where safe
