((Headcanon that Aerith is a huge fan of Christmas and usually is pretty fesitive. She makes sure to plant some extra red flowers in the garden and usually wears a nice christmas dress for the occasion if she goes to a Christmas party with her friends. She invites her friends over to help decorate and typically has a really great time with it too. She also makes sure to give them a nice gift and some flowers to accurately describe how she feels about them, whether it be romantic or platonic.))

“Hmm, not in particular.” Aerith smiled as she tended to her flower bed. “But you’re here, watching me, so I could say the same for you.” Aerith gave him a water pail and sat next to him. “If you’re just sitting around, maaaaaaybe you could help out?”

Cloud stared down at the water pail in his hand, almost amused that she wanted him to help.

“I’m hardly the right person to ask, you know. I’m a SOLDIER, not a gardener.”

He sighed after a moment and kneeled down, sprinkling the water on the girl’s flowerbed. “How much do they need?”

Aerith pouted at him and put her hands on her hips. “You make it sound like it’s difficult!” Aerith walked over to him and gently moved the water pail over the flowers.

“See? Not difficult at all!” Aerith smiled brightly at him. “All you have to do is water them gently, just like I showed you.” Aerith walked away for a second and pulled out a packet of flower seeds.

“If you want, I could always teach you? Who knows, you might even like it enough to start a garden at your place.”
