You  are  pessimistic  ,  but  you  don't  even  flinch  as  she  points  it  out  .  Staring  dead  ahead  at  the  ginger  -  but  she  does  have  a  point  ,  you  almost  forgot  this  jessica  (  most  of  them  now  ) at  this  point  was  aware  of  the  meddling  across  universe  .  tilting  your  head  to  the  side  with  a  sigh  you  raised  your  portal  gun  to  gaze  upon  the  gadget  .

Moe could handle himself; but that wasn't the point. Sometimes you just have to check-in with people. It's an emotional thing, it's a caring thing. "Hmm.." Jessica watched him with a curious albeit suspicious gaze. "You're not gonna bother Rick or Morty are you? No killing either I hope....not even maiming!!"

No, she wouldn't ask. Not directly anyway. "There are new teddy bear pancakes at the Waffle House ....that would be a chill reason for interdimensional travel.."

has  she  always  been  this  loud  ?  your  brain  cant  quite  catch  up  or  piece  together  if  she  had  always  been  like  this  ,  time  is  a  strange  subject  ,  &  your  memory  is  something  that  falls  short  ,  leaving  you  staring  at  jessica  with  that  empty  look  ,  brows  knitting  together  as  you  mimic  her  body  language  subconsciously  .

" anything   can  happen  ,  don't  need  space  adventures  to  kill  you  -  remember  where  you  live  ? "I'm starting to think you don't have any faith in me." She crossed her arms, then absentmindedly kicked a little pebble away with her shoe. "Whatever, I'm still right. You're way too pessimistic!" Jessica wasn't actually upset, but she couldn't help but point out the obvious.

"Well, you're the one that's making a little visit into another reality. So, I'm just a bit curious. That's all...! I don't know why you'd want to be here. As far as I'm aware, everything's been pretty ...chill."

there's  things that never change  in  your  absence  ,  the  way  she  approaches  you  seems  to  be  exactly  the  same  &  the  way  you  feel  yourself  cringe  is  just  the  same  ,  staring  at  the  taller  with  that  emotionless  gaze  and  a  deadpan  expression  .  nonetheless  ,  she's  still  a  jessica  ,  &  no  matter  how  much  you  wish  you  weren't  .  you're  still  a  morty  .

" i  am  surprised  you're  still  alive  ,  jessica  .  shame  ,  maybe  next  time  ,  what  do  you  think  ? "

That statement earned Moe a laugh; a fairly boisterous one. "HAH!" She tried to remain irritated or annoyed, but she was pretty bad at falsifying and masking her own emotions, so she just let loose.

"That's rich coming from you!" She put her hands on her hips, staring down at him with furrowed brows and a half-smile. "What do I think? I think you need to be more optimistic, and I've been minding my own business. No space adventures, thank you very much!" Just studying cosmic bees, but that was different.

"Oh, right...I guess you wouldn't....um! I'm Jessica! Really no one important. Totally insignificant. Just another speck among the multiverse really!"

She chuckled. Rubbing the back of her neck. "Oh yeah it's kind of a long story but um I'm much happier basically." She casually explained as she followed after her. Considering what happened she planned on sugar coating it quite a bit.

"Oh, that's cool! I don't really need a play-by-play or anything. As long as your happy, that's all that matters." Jessica waved her hand dismissively as they approached the ice cream truck. There was a line of people waiting; so it seemed like the girls would have a little more time to catch up.

"Oh...mm..." Jessica deflated a little. Being patient was not one of her strong suits, but to save face she was willing to suck it up. "...SO--" She glanced over at Meg. "

"I guess we have time to swap stories while we wait..."

Meg was running so fast that she almost tripped over her own feet. The girl had to use her arms to balance herself. "Oh yeah actually! My grandma got it for me." It also appeared the girl's overall style had changed. It was still hyper feminine but more classy and preppy styled. Like she had gained some wealth since the last time jessica had seen her.

Jessica noticed Meg stumbling a little, so she slowed her pace to a casual walk instead of full jog. She laughed; slightly out of breath. "Hehe, aww! That's great!" Meg also seemed to be a lot happier too; she had a over all brighter demeanor than the last time Jessica saw her.

She gave her friend a thumbs up; then a goofy wink. "Looking good dude! Once we get our hands on some of the sweet stuff, you gotta catch me up on what's been happening." Jessica had been out of the loop; school studies off-planet had kept her pretty busy.

When Meg joined Jessica outside, she greeted her with a smile; hopping excitedly from foot to foot as she did so. "Alright alright!" Ever full of energy, she was ready to barrel down the sidewalk towards the ice cream truck, but knew she had to wait for Meg, so she controlled her urge to sprint.
