Rework

Decided to do a redraw of one of the first works I ever did of Sal (and Zane) and I gotta say I am quite proud of my improvement.

Guys Ive made a terrible mistake

I've started playing Baulders Gate 3...... I'm 24 hours in and Im addicted.

Welp looks like Im falling head first into the D&D world once more. Doesnt help I've begun Dming for 2 groups in the past 6 months.

Ah well could be worse. I could be doing drugs.

Re-watching possession and thinking about how horrifying Cole’s ghostafication really is. 

He’s the elemental master of earth, the very ground that everyone lives on, it’s everywhere. For the other ninja, you can’t find fire everywhere you turn, lighting only strikes on occasion and snow on happens in the winter. I’d like to think that the ninja call upon their elements from the inside, from their core part—all except for Cole. In the tournament of sources, we see Cole giving instructions to Frak to reach down and push out not summon, not manifest but to manipulate what’s already there, what’s around you. Earth undoubtedly the element that requires the most worldly ties to. You have to feel your earth, you can’t summon it from no where. This makes the whole ‘Cole got turned into a ghost thing’ so much more horrifying. Cole can no longer touch or feel anything. Everything just passes through him and disappears, he no longer has any worldly ties. All of his connections to his own element, and by default one of the only connections he has left to his mom, has been severed completely. His depression of being a ghost goes so much more than ‘oh great, I’ve now become the thing I fear the most’.

Morro being so chill about being a ghost could either allude to the fact that he’s been a ghost for a while but it could also be bc he’s the EM of wind. Light, airy, flying and always flowing wind. It can go through the smallest holes and cracks. Morro also controls what’s around him much like Cole, but unlike Cole, becoming a ghost connected him to his element rather than sever him from it, he gained one of his greatest strengths out of being a ghost (becoming more in-tuned with his element) and Cole received one of his weaknesses from his element (being severed from it completely).

Probably one of the best analysis I have ever seen regarding Cole's ghostafication. 10/10

Na’vi Kai

FIRST NINJA DONE.

Kai the Na'vi.

This was a really interesting one to do with a lot of ways I could make it work. I decided that Kai and Nya would be half reef half forest Na'vi. With Kai gaining more forest qualities while still retaining a few reef qualities like small fins on his arms and wavier but not completely water like marks. (I tried to make them resemble fire almost) His skin is also a little lighter almost ashy grey in some areas.

I didnt want to divert from the canon types of Na'vi by changing his skin colour to red or anything. Instead incorperating his colours as his war paint. I also thought of making him apart of the ash people but that didnt sit right with Nya in the picture so I decided against it. This was what felt the best.

Anyway he was extremely fun to do. Love drawing my fav characters as blue aliens XD

Na’vi Sal

Watched the newest Avatar movie a little bit ago and OHMYGOSH. Honestly loved it. Was so good. Been a huge fan of those moves my entire life and it was the first time I got to see one on the big screen so I was thrilled.

And inspired. So I drew Sal as a Na’vi. I picked water due to her connection to the Moon and her love for the water. She turned out amazing in my opinion.

I’m so tempted to draw actual Ninjago characters as Na’vi because this was very fun.

Oh also a version of her in the dark so you can see her bioluminescence.

Not The Norm

So with the new Hazbin Hotel season out (which i havent seen yet) I decided to create an OC and dang did I have fun with it.

Pokémon x Ninjago crossover (Part 4)

KAI’S TURN FOR THE POKÈ-NINJA WORLD!

This one is by far my favourite (and that’s not just because he’s my favourite ninja). I had so much fun working out Kai’s team and deciding what he’d be doing. 10/10 experience drawing this one.

Anyway Lloyd is next for the Pokè-world then Nya after that so stay tuned :D

Pokémon x Ninjago crossover (Part 3)

Cole’s Pokémon team!

This one was a little difficult as there was just so many Pokémon I could see Cole having but eventually I settle with these six (It was so difficult to not give him an Onyx but it ended up feeling like it didn’t quite fit.) Also why the hell is geodude so hard to draw? For a sphere with arms, it shouldn’t have been as hard as it was, but oh well.

Idk I was just in the mood to draw Pokémon and thought ‘Hey why not a crossover’ then spent forever figuring out which Pokémon Jay would have and why. It was fun tho.
