Many places have a "forest that shouldn't be entered." Even people who are used to working in the mountains feel there is something there. They are suddenly overcome with fear and it becomes the custom to avoid certain places. These places exist. I don't know what is there, but I think they are real . . . The world is more than we can fathom with our five senses. The world doesn't exist just for humans. So I think it is all right to have such things. This is why I think it's a mistake to think about nature from the idea of efficiency, that forests should be preserved because they are essential for human beings . . . I am concerned, because for me the deep forest is connected in some way to the darkness deep in my heart. I feel that if it is erased, then the darkness inside my heart would also disappear, and my existence would grow shallow.

Everything is so rushed. People in their twenties complaining about being old, sped up songs, sped up videos, too many things to do in such a short time. We have lost the art of lingering.

spent the afternoon sorting out my office room that i’ve been putting off for weeks after we redecorated our upstairs rooms (and then it got way too hot to move furniture around multiple times) & im so happy to have my space back to work and game !! all my things had been collecting dust for ages </3

serge lutens - la religieuse

this was my scent of the day from my recent samples and oh my goodness . it just got more and more enchanting as it settled in; such a beautiful powdery almost soapy floral that evolves into an incense dream. I really would love to own this (especially in the bell shape bottle), it would fit into my fragrance family so well. I love the way this scent blends the light and dark, a contrast I resonate with myself !
