Truscum are basically gender hipsters, it seems to me. They liked it before it was cool etc. etc.
this is the perfect fucking description
trans people without dysphoria are still trans
uh, first of all, no
well but like
trans people who are through with their transition and have alleviated their dysphoria
trans people who feel indifferent or apathetic towards their assigned gender, but feel validated & euphoric when presenting as their identified gender (called gender euphoria)
my point: not everyone has the same experiences as you, and it’s not up to you to say that they’re wrong.
🌟you are the boss of your own gender🌟
really then why do i have debilitating gender dysphoria
oh yeah because gender can’t be controlled or willingly changed
Sighhhhhhh
This post means that no one gets to dictate your gender except you.
petition to ban transgendereds from public restrooms because they go into restrooms to assault cis people who are trying to pee. restrooms should be safe places, ban the trans
But like do you understand that this is a very real thing that cis people legit actually say very often And that the original post was satire making fun of how this is legitimately said IRL What exactly is the point of your blog are you just that upset that there might be a very small safe place for trans people on the internet like do you hate trans people that much
Sup, cissy?
Idk who this is meant for, neither of the mods of this blog are cis
Say what you will but I think it’s unfair for trans people to get to choose their name. I just read an article about Caitlyn “Bruce” Jenner and I was wondering why she chose that name for herself instead of making a variation of “Bruce.” Either ask your parents what they would name you if you were born the opposite sex or make it a variation of your current name. I didn’t choose my name so why should you be able to choose yours? I’m not hating on anyone I just want to know different opinions on this subject. So what do you think?
Down with Cis
are cis ppl aware they can change their own names or do they just see that as a trans thing and suffer with their given name for the rest of their life lmao
@cis people
shut up.
Finally someone says it!
what is this cis nonsense omg
I understand the whole identifying yourself as a different gender than your anatomical sex, but I think people should proudly go about their bodies without changing it. Like, be proud of who you are. Being trans isn’t a bad thing. Don’t get me wrong, but being cis is a wonderful thing too. Like… idk. I can’t find the right words, but you should be proud of who you were born as regardless. Sorry if this post offends any of you guys, I guess that’s just the way I see it.
so you think people with dysphoria should just, what, get over it? this post is so shitty and transphobic. and you realized it was offensive and posted it anyway.
why do truscum so vehemently hate happy people what are they even trying to do
its funny there are actually a LOT of pronouns other than he/she/they that have long histories and origins outside of tumblr and the internet AND there are some places where gendered pronouns don’t even exist AND to claim that those are the only acceptable pronouns upholds western supremacy/imperialism due to the fact that gender existed in many places in a way completely contrary to traditional western standards and STILL DOES TODAY even within the united states and many countries did not even have gendered pronouns withing their launguages until they became more westernized (some languages STILL lack gendered pronouns; consider the case of Yoruba, a Kwa language spoken in Nigeria, the Yoruba people refer to their language as Ede Yoruba. Is also a gender neutral language. Gender pronouns such as he or she simply do not exist in Yoruba language. Words like brother, sister, and son /daughter also do not exist. The most important organizing category is age. Therefore people are classified by whether they are egbun (older sibling) or aburo(younger sibling). In order to say brother, one would need to say aburo mi okunrin ( this roughly translates to my younger sibling, the male). Male and Female are also quite unlike man and woman in English language. Wo-man in English denotes an outcropping, or outgrowth of man, while Yoruba obirin and okorin, actually mean, one who has a vagina and one who has a penis, respectively), trying to force western conceptions of gender on other cultures is an act of imperialism and presumes that one culture/group of people somehow knows more about the human condition.
but, you know. curse those special snowflakes, or whatever
my fav thing about the sonic-for-real-justice debacle is it shows how ridiculous attacking “”“special snowflakes””” is like honestly nothing makes me happier than anti-sjws making fools of themselves on a large scale like this
some kid on the internet: idk i'm probably a cloud
anti-sjw: This Fills Me With Rage For Some Reason
alright, listen up, tumblr. And before i get started, I have 2 trans best friends and my sister is a trans girl, as well. (I myself, am pan, and have gone through gender identity crisis’s before) BUT this website, for the majority, is a huge. sack. of. BULLSHIT. Now let me tell you why…
Apparently there is a tag going around that is something like #downwithcis and why in what world makes this fucking okay?! My friends are very unhappy about this!!! Cis people were born in the right bodies, and they are okay, and no, they do not deal with dysphoria and the very terrible problems that come with being trans. But just because someone doesn’t go through the same pain as you, WHY SHOULD YOU WANT THEM TO DIE. Just because a cis person doesn’t have dysphoria, DON’T TELL THEM THEY ARE USELESS, STUPID, AND A WASTE OF LIVING.
Now tell me people who say cis folks should be knocked down, you probably have a few friends, right? Maybe a cute pet? A favourite shirt? Well, what if there was someone named ‘Person X’ who slid into your ask box and said “I DON’T HAVE ANY FRIENDS. I DON’T HAVE ANY PETS. I DON’T HAVE A COOL SHIRT LIKE YOU. SO I THINK YOU SHOULD DIE!! PEOPLE WITH FRIENDS ARE BETTER OFF DEAD!! ALL PEOPLE AND THEIR PETS ARE DUMB, DUMB, DUMB…” Now how fucking stupid does that sound. And frankly, that’s kinndddaaaaaa the same exact attitude you’re pulling here.
So honestly, just shut the fuck up.
Be nice.
Be respectful.
And do NOT. call yourself a feminist if you are against innocent cis people.
But of course, if there is a cis person who brags about not having dysphoria, or states that they’re better than trans people, go give them a big fist bump up the ass
Okay. Im done. mack out.
Down with cis
I’m sick and tired of seeing all these posts shaming cisgender people by others who incorrectly lump us all together (thank you to all the non-cisgender and cis people who actually understand equality and don’t lump everyone together). As a pansexual ally of LGBTQIA+
I will NOT apologize for being comfortable with the gender and sex I was assigned at birth.
I WILL apologize for using incorrect pronouns, causing dysphoria, or making you uncomfortable/upset. I’m human, I make mistakes, I’m learning, but that doesn’t make me inherently phobic of anyone’s identity.
Don’t you DARE shame anyone for being “normative”. You can- and should- have your identities and preferences acknowledged and respected, but only if you aren’t putting anyone else down.
NOT EVERYONE HAS TO FALL UNDER YOUR GENDER IDENTITY. That goes for ALL identities!
Thank you.
