#when I first was playing chapter 5 I remember not caring much for the flowers #but over these past few weeks I’ve grown to love them so much #what a fun bunch of characters that we may never see again 😭#really do love them they’re a great addition to the story #Deltarune #very cute art!

Lestat is so princess and baby girl 🥰he’s Louis’ wife and Claudia’s mother and everything wrong he’s ever done can be explained away by other people.

Also did you know Louis was a pimp over 100 years ago? He needs to apologize to everyone he’s ever wronged and Claudia’s ghost has to tell him she hates him the most.

#I truly wanted to love this season #like I tried so so hard #but I cannot stand this characterization of these characters it’s literally so uninteresting and boring and bad #yes I am exaggerating to some extent but I’ve seen people hold opinions very similar to these #I am not saying Lestat is a horrible person and I’m not saying Louis is a perfect perso #obviously there’s nuance but like…#the woobificationg and babygirlification of Lestat has actually turned me away from his character #like he’s so much more uninteresting and annoying like that

The Vampire Lestat is legitimately making me depressed.

IWTV seasons 1&2 are my favourite seasons of television ever, I’ve rewatched every episode multiple times and I genuinely think the writing is genius level. And then I’m watching The Vampire Lestat and I’m so bored and uninterested in the plot, I barely care to rewatch any episode, and it’s making choices I strongly disagree with.

I kind of just want to pretend this season doesnt exist. The show ended at season 2 and had an amazing finale.

#I’m so so sad I wanted to love this season #but I just don’t like it #I don’t care about Lestat or his mom or Daniel or Armand #i kind of still care for Louis but thinking about how the show is treating him makes me depressed so I have to ignore him too #anyway this season doesn’t exist and only seasons 1&2 do #maybe I’ll try again to love this season later

#aauuughhh so cute #Deltarune #I love their dynamic so much it makes me sad and happy at the same time

it seems like the deltarune fandom is forcing another joke i hate that theyll run into the ground for the next year, making the subreddit essentially unreadable.

after the release of chapters 3&4 there were sooo many "jokes" on the reddit and other areas of people hating on Kris for being a bad vessel, hitting the soul with a hockey stick, working with the knight, etc. they would then describe ways in which they'd punish kris for daring to defy them and write up being violent towards them. and yeah theyd say it's all jokes or whatever but it got old and unfunny so so fast i had to avoid the subreddit entirely because every post about kris had this brought up and just ruined the discussion.

now after the chapter 5 release people are switching up on susie and making jokes about hating her for ruining kris' chances with berdly and pink as if susie is forcing kris to be alone, but then when people rationalize that actually kris just doesnt care about any of this, people will be like "yeah well she ruined MY chances with them" (thus conflating kris as a self insert which the game has established time and time again they are not!!). which like, its just all so unfunny. and again theyre saying they are joking, but some people are actually using this to start hating on susie truly as if shes some sort of awful friend to kris and completely disregarding their feelings.

i really hope this "joke" doesnt last the entirety of the wait for the new chapter like the kris "joke" did. even though kris is my favourite character i think i actually prefer the kris bashing over susie, people have instantly gotten way too hateful of her for all the minor mistakes she makes and its pissing me off.

I want to look up stuff about Deltarune soo bad but I’m not done the chapter yet. And then I also have to play the weird route too!! I must avoid spoilers!!

#I keep taking breaks from the game and I’m tempted to look up stuff online about it #but I shouldn’t I need to be as spoiler free as possible

I don’t want to finish Deltarune chapter 5 today because I want to take my time with it but that also means I have to stay off YouTube for that long too. If I go on YouTube the first thing my algorithm will show me is Deltarune videos. I’m trying to be as spoiler free as possible.

#also can’t go on twitter or instagram but I try to stay off those as much as possible already anyway #but I wanna watch YouTube but I must avoid that site…..!!!!

deltarune chapter 5 in less than 20 minutes im so excited to play the game but also scared lol i get so nervous when things i like get new content im always so worried itll be bad so i go looking for spoilers. but i will not do that for the new chapter. im gonna try to finish the chapter, both the normal route and weird route before i search online for anything deltarune related. i only went into chapter 1 spoiler free on my first playthrough, i knew spoilers for the other chapters so id love if i can play chapter 5 spoiler free.

#ill probably post about the chapter on tumblr because nobody in my real life plays this game :(
