Luckily, she has a deportation deferral from DACA, so it does not seem like she is at risk of being deported. However, she is receiving all sorts of online threats and had to deactivate her Twitter account. She said, “ I didn’t think it would [get so much attention] tbh and it’s kinda scary and I want it to stop.” Just another clear example of hatred against Latinos and immigrants.
