Had a couple of people asking how I get into that lever split and that Starfish pose in the aerial hammock. So here is a quick demo of the whole process. ⦠⦠IMPORTANT!!! Please show this to your instructor or an experienced aerialist and have them teach it to you. This particular combo is very fussy and requires that the hammock is crossed in a particular way. Crossing it the opposite way will put you in a belay-like noose that you will NOT be able to get out of on your own! At least not easily. Sooooo much spinā¦makes it hard to get a good screen shot. People always ask me if I get dizzy and the answer is honestly ānopeā. If you practice on spin a couple times a week, you really do develop immunity to it. I also take ginger pills and supplementsā¦and I think that really helps too. Also, donāt try and look out around you (or try to watch yourself in a mirror) that usually makes the dizziness level waaaaaay worse. ;) (at Awakenings Pole Dance Fitness-Manayunk)
