I just love when I have time for creating art. It makes me so happy and gives meaning to my life.
Last December I’ve been spending most of my time making Christmas postcards for my friends. So here is the one of them. ❄️🎄

Last December I’ve been spending most of my time making Christmas postcards for my friends. So here is the one of them. ❄️🎄
Animals are just my go to inspiration for sketching, they inspire me a lot. I’ve wanted to study human portraits, but yeah…I’ve ended up with animals. Who wouldn’t love their cheekiness and cuteness? 😍
Portrait? Watercolour progress, I’ve been practising ear, such a tricky structure. And I combined it with hair practice - I had a tendency to paint it like fur, who knows why….
I am mostly practicing portraits these days, but this little animal sketches are the light in my universe.
Why are animals so cute 🥰
My one week portrait progression.
I have many many many more hours of learning ahead of me, but…I am surprised how fun it is. To make mistakes, to see progress, to grow. 🙂 I have always been crazy about learning. 😍😍
I am a doctor (currently doing nuclear medicine), so it is also a great way to review muscle structure.
But! Animals are still my favourite ❤️ 🐶🐰🙊
The blue heron — such a graceful, quiet creature. Slender, elegant, always looking so calm and collected.
Just standing there by the water, watching the day fade as the mist rolls in and the light softens.
Panda panda panda, it is nice to be a cute panda. 🥰
I had 90 minutes to create a gift for my niece — this is how it turned out! 🐘
My usual process: quick sketch, base layer, glazing, and detailing. I definitely need to be more mindful with my brushstrokes though — but hey, deadlines! 😂
✒️ Left: Influencer vibes in front of the Eiffel Tower.
🕶️ Right: Jazz musician? Secret agent? Local café cryptid? Unclear. But the drip is undeniable.
Proof that ink art isn’t just for dramatic crows and haunted castles. Sometimes it’s for cats with better wardrobes than me.
“Plotting something? Maybe.
Just vibing? Definitely.” 🐾😼
It’s already June, but I don’t enjoy hot weather—so I decided to cool myself down a bit by painting this cozy little rabbit. ❄️🐰
Cats are my favourite animal subjects to draw. 😍

Just clinging to life (and this tree). Don’t ask me to move, I’m in energy-saving mode 🐼🌿
Mixed media.
Hi everyone! 🍀
Nothing fancy today—just a sketch of a lovely jackrabbit, and a bit of experimenting with light and shadow. I used gouache for this. I don’t usually use gouache (I’m more of a watercolor person), but I’m starting to like it! 🖌️
Honestly, I was amazed at how well the Art Creation sketchbook paper held up. 🤩

I like to do these small paintings to capture the light and emotion of the animal. This one is a watercolor with colored pencils on Nostalgia Hahnemühle paper. It’s not typically meant for watercolor, but I actually enjoy the unexpected textures it creates — it’s a bit of a love-hate relationship. 🧐🤩
Hi,
🐾 I like to paint fluffy animals, especially moody cats. This is my mixed media sketch - watercolour and coloured pencils.
