Two things to prop up right now:
The ACLU - They’ll do their best to make sure this dumpster fire doesn’t turn into a wildfire.
The Trevor Project - They’ll be fielding a lot of calls, texts, and chats in the next few days and beyond.
Plus!
Gaza Funds - People in Palestine right now still need our help. If you have limited money to give (as most of us do) and can't decide, Gaza Funds will direct you straight to a GoFundMe that's far from its goal.
The Bail Project - Help people get out on bail before trial. A lot of people lose their jobs while awaiting trial, even for something minor like a traffic violation, because they couldn't afford bail.
National Network of Abortion Funds - God knows we're gonna need them.
More!
Jews For Racial and Economic Justice - An NYC-based organization dedicated to building Jewish community, fighting racism and antisemitism, and creating solidarity between minority groups.
Muslim Community Network - An organization dedicated to fighting Islamophobia in the USA and preventing hate crimes.
Planned Parenthood - Reproductive healthcare, including abortion access, STD testing, and cancer prevention.
Natural Resources Defense Council - Focused on protecting the environment and conservation efforts, as well as people's right to clean water and air, with legal action.
Black Lives Matter - Fighting antiblack discrimination and violence in the USA, with a focus on abolition and ending police violence.
First Nations Development Institute - Dedicated to uplifting and enriching Native American communities.
Greenpeace - Focused on environmental causes worldwide.
Also, Charity Navigator is a great resource to find new organizations and make sure they're above-board.
Bringing this list back for No Kings Day. If you're unable to protest in person, here are some causes you can donate or share! Every bit helps.
