I think about this moment sometimes, how deep in thought Caitlyn is.

No, she does not have to look for Jinx, but she does it anyway. For Vi. She does not care what that means to her personally. Because she is worried about her partner, her well-being, her happiness. Although time has passed, and they have healed from their physical injuries, the feelings are still raw. She only pulls away from her thoughts when she hears her lover singing, and it makes her smile.

Again, Caitlyn does not have to do all this. But she asks anyway: “Are you still in this fight, Violet?"

‘Are you still with me? There is still so much to do, and I am going to be part of that. So do we have a life together? Because if not, I would understand.’ Caitlyn is ready to lose her again, if it’s going to lead her to her happiness. If it’s going to help her. Vi knows what Caitlyn is asking and saying here and it makes her softly smile. She replies fitting to her character, “I am the dirt under your nails cupcake, nothing’s going to clean me out.”

‘You can’t get rid of me that easily. I choose you and I want to be with you. We were meant to be, and I am here to stay.”

Yeah.. these two are going to be just fine. Because Caitlyn loves Vi so dearly and Vi loves her back. They struggled a lot but they learned a lot too. They have come a long way, and they have more to go together. Haters are going to hate because that's what they do. And I am just going to keep loving, loving, and loving them.
