Every curse has conditions to how they can be broken. They don’t need to be fulfilled to the letter, and technically you can break a curse as long as you can reasonably argue that the requirements are met.

At your school, nearly every one of your classmates has some kind of magical secret. You know them all, but none of them know that. While you could help them out by revealing that you know the truth, it’s much more fun to see the kind of excuses they make to cover up what they want to keep hidden.
