Dragon’s Den - Preview

This is a fic I’m writing of our characters in a dragon-riding modern AU. Each chapter will have a short snippet preview like this, which will hopefully not give too much away each time.

“Sylaran, leave your little brother alone!” The boys, who had previously been arguing over packing an extra pair of hiking boots or not, immediately seized fighting as their Sister’s voice drifted up the stairs. Syazel poked a tongue out at his older brother, making a show of tossing the hideous boots away. There was no way he’d be packing those brown fashion disasters, not even if Sylaran asked nicely.

“Even Synthielle agrees with me!” He made a show of unpacking the tent, bedroll and other odd hiking gear the older one had stuffed in his suitcase, “It’s my first year of magic classes, not military school,” Syazel huffed, content that he now had enough space to pack some real clothes.
