→ that’s the thing about flash fires. they’re intense outbursts of flames that reach their maximum heat quickly and don’t last a long time. hell, they don’t even get to fade before they cease to exist. however, flash fires may be intense and short, but the floor beneath them is ruined forever.
The clinking noise of heels hitting the floor filled the room as you ran up the stairs, shamelessly spilling drops of wine on the marble floors. You tossed your head back meeting Jimin’s smirk as you made your way to the dorm. He merrily grabbed the bottle, his hip faintly grazing yours as you sloppily walked, clumsily drunk.
“Does Mingyu know you’ll be sleeping here?” he cooed, bumping his shoulder into yours teasingly.
You nodded carelessly, explaining how Mingyu had plans for himself that night, making him unable to see you anyway.
You had been dating Mingyu for a few months now and whilst, surely, it was difficult dating an idol, the two of you had somehow made it work. It was secretive and a little ridiculous, but perhaps that was what encouraged the tingling joy. You made sure you didn’t bother him when he was working, he made sure to call you when he could and then you’d meet up for incredible sex. It didn’t have to be harder than that, you kept telling yourself.
It didn’t take long before the topic had been dismissed and the two of you returned to your inconsiderate, flailing arms and annoyingly loud voices, entirely dismissing that other people lived in the complex. However, it wasn’t until Jimin pushed you into the wall that you heard the creaking sound of an opening door echo off the walls, your eyes flickering open as they rocketed to the door. It was Yoongi, leaning against the doorframe as he scowled, his eyes scanning the two of you before stepping aside, motioning for you to step inside.
