how does your wisteria poison actually work?
only read this if you don’t mind graphic descriptions of poisoning! ^^
are you asking how my poison affects and kills a demon? this is actually a fairly complicated question to answer, given that some of the effects are not actually comparable to the situations in which a human is poisoned. i’ll try to explain!
to start, a single wisteria flower does not possess near enough toxicity to kill a demon. at most, it is an irritant! something to keep them away, for example. my wisteria poison comes in a variety of different compositions that are formulated quickly, and are potent enough to kill most mid-ranking demons in under ten seconds, varying depending on the amount of rapid injections. this requires quite a potent poison. even the most toxic of plants will normally take at least several minutes, if not an hour, to kill someone! most demons also have the uncanny ability to regenerate and adjust their body accordingly to combat most forms of internal or external physical trauma, so if something is going to work, it needs to work very quickly.
all the symptoms are condensed down into lasting milliseconds at most. the immediate feeling is one of confusion, then it is quickly followed by the overwhelming sensation of suffocation. uncontrollable paroxysms compound the feeling of the demon losing control of their body. the feeling of suffocation will intensify as all the muscles in their body stiffen and contort with a distinct burning sensation, particularly in the throat and abdomen! this isn’t merely a trick, however, as the wisteria poison does possess the ability to melt the creature from the inside out, though that normally isn’t the primary cause of death the eyes bulge, unable to blink due, and then the demon will ultimately die from the blood reaction and the paralysis and deconstruction of their respiratory muscles! it does a wonderful job of preventing any of their regeneration, so they die of such things just like a human would. :)
