in one of my college classes like 10 years ago i had a sketchbook assignment for 30 sketches of. real life? i dont remember but what i do remember is i had to bullshit all of them the night before.

so what i did was use google streetview for references instead of actually going out, and i just used single colours (marker/pen/pencil crayon) for each sketch so they'd at least pop a little.

it was the lowest effort assignment i've ever completed. but looking at them now there's something about them i really like?

despite the simplicity i was playing around with line lengths and never erased any mistakes; i just kept going.

i also feel like the negative space in some of these works to add scale.

idk. i like them. no you will not see the remaining 10 i havent posted here even if i'll find any excuse to post old art.
