It has been 1826.25 days since my “pit bull type dog” has gone pit. 1826.25 days since my “pit bull type dog” has morphed into the infamous land shark that lurks the concrete ocean.  I’m not sure what is going on with him, but in 1826.25 days that he has been alive, my mutant land shark has failed at evolving into the hideous beast that Dogsbite.org swears to me would have happened in at least the 2nd year of his life.

2011 was the year our “pit bull type” dog graced our door steps. Little did I know, that according to Dogsbite.org, 2011 was the year that the world was going to end all because we had a “pit bull” puppy entering our small household. While our “pit bull” puppy did not go all “pit” on anyone that year, some pretty epic things did happen that had absolutely nothing to do with pit bulls.

In 2012, our big eared bat dog- the every growing “pit bull type” puppy had failed to eat me, my husband, our other pets and any other family member. Surely, he was just a late bloomer? Well, according to Dogsbite.org, our black landshark just hadn’t reached the magic age yet. The transformation from family dog to man eating dinosaur was scheduled for early 2013, of course my family was on high alert! When would this monstrous morph happen? While we were sleeping? Going grocery shopping? At work? 2012 was a rough year, sleeping with one eye opened and bread sticks placed everywhere just in case we had to stop the Dogsbite.org guarantee of the murderous change in our undog.

(Excuse me.. but I muuuustache you a question..)

2013 rolled in with a bang! This was the year, Dogsbite.org confirmed, year 2 was the magical number. According to Dogsbite.org founder, year 2 was when pit bulls go from loving pooches into murderous man eating land sharks bent on earths destruction.  So we waited…..

Queen Elizabeth II had her Diamond Jubilee, mass shooting at Aurora Colorado movie theatre, Curiosity Rover landed on Mars, the first Marvel’s The Avenger movie released, Hurricane Sandy rolled in and caused mass destruction… yet, my demon dog from the bowels of Satan slept through it all. What the heck? How could this have happened? I mean, according to Dogsbite.org and BSL advocates, 96% of pit bull types have killed people, pillows and animals and the remaining 4% just killed stuff and stayed unreported.

2014….you know, maybe our “pit bull type dog” just wasn’t a mauling sort of beast, maybe his weapon was gas. Maybe, just maybe he was trying to kill us with his silent and deadly gas passing? It came close a few times… 2015 came and went and it seems as if he’s just gotten lazier, like the direct opposite of what Dogsbite.org  swore to be me that he would become. It’s June 10, 2016 and as I peek under my desk watching my land shark sleep curled up on a over stuffed animal, I realize just how awesome my land shark is and how millions of families feel the same way about their gas passing pooches.

(Gee…. I wonder who the grumpy one in the house is?)

At the end of the day, my dog, like millions of others like him are just that- dogs. I wish I could say he’s just like every other dog, but that would be a lie, because he isn’t. No dog is just like the next dog and every dog should be judged as a individual dog. Isn’t that what dog shows do? You could have 5 of the same breed standing in the same line and only one will be placed #1?

So yes, my dog comes before any BSL/Dogsbite.org member roaming the internet. Why is that? Because my dog is innocent, just like millions of other. My children deserve to chose the breed of dog they want when they become responsible adults. They deserve to do the research, reflect on their own personal experience and make responsible decisions themselves and I refuse to let BSL advocates who can’t even maintain their own lives make that choice for my children, our pets and their future pets.

  Borchardt is just so kind to us “willfully ignorant pit bull activists”. Just how is he so kind to us? Well, he takes time for his usually non-busy day to write a blog post about how he will give you a chance to make ONE comment on his one of hundreds of facebook pages and not get banned. What’s the catch ( because, we know there is always a catch…) ? You just have to say exactly what he want’s you to say.

Seems rather simple, right? WRONG!  First, you have to listen to the barrage of names that you have to agree to be called. Nope, it doesn’t matter just how inaccurate they are, you just have to roll with the names. What are the names? Let me list a few:

  We have created these pages in an attempt to spare other families and friends of the pain and suffering we have had to endure by giving you HONEST information. Not DISHONEST information from the countless organizations and TV shows whom are OWNED, CONTROLLED, or FUNDED by dog breeders, owners, veterinarian or animal welfare groups that have a vested interest in keeping the status of pit bulls unregulated, but HONEST information from people that have nothing to gain from this position. – Jeff Borchardt

  If you listen closely, you will the buzzing of bitterness deep within the hive of BSL craziness. One of those voices seething with bitterness is the infamous Jeff Borchardt. Why is he bitter now? What could have possibly triggered his predictable temper tantrum?

A insightful, beautifully written New York Times best seller book that dares to speak the truth and filled with facts about pit bulls.

A book that destroyed anything and everything written by BSL Advocates. A book that confronts the inaccuracy of “statistics” by the notorious Merritt Clifton, who for some reason declined to actually back up his “statistics” when the author contacted to him give him a chance to back up his facts. A book that is supported, enjoyed and loved by professionals and experts… something that no BSL advocate has yet to ever achieve. It’s not like they haven’t tried- I mean,  J Thomas Beasley attempted to write a book, Misunderstood Nanny dogs, unfortunately for BSL advocates it sank faster than the titanic. I suppose the world wasn’t ready for a cut & paste printed copy of Dogsbite.org, but it shows the glaring difference between a well researched book (like Dickey’s) and a hack job like Beasley.

So yes, Borchardt and his fellow morons have a lot to be bitter about and true to form, the founder of Daxton’s Friends  resorts to his typical behavior…. sending out the stalkers and one in particular, Mr. Craig Brown.  It’s not like Craig Brown is new to the stalker world, in fact, he reeeeaaallly enjoys stalking people and children. Yes, you read that right- Mr. Craig Brown enjoys stalking children.

  it’s his love for stalking that Borchardt knew that Brown was the best man to send to stalk and harass Bronwen Dickey at her book reading/signing which he happily did.

  Even AFTER he was removed and the police had been dispatched because of his harassment and stalking, he found it necessary to attempt to pass out Daxton’s Friends fliers provided by Jeff Borchardt.

I can’t help but find the false bravado from Borchardt to be somewhat amusing. While he sits behind his keyboard in his little town in Wisconsin, always bragging about he’ll face any pit bull owner anywhere to “educate” them on his views, both him, I and a certain media group now just how false that really is.

  In attempt to set it out all on the table, I encouraged a face to face  with Borchardt to be aired on a cable network channel. I even agreed to fly to his little hell hole and buy the jobless man a cup a coffee while we discussed our differences of views. I thought for sure, the man who keeps pounding his little chest and proclaiming how he would set pit bull owners straight in a face to face would absolutely jump at the chance to “educate” me with his “facts”…. surprisingly, he declined. Here was this platform with access to millions and he refused. I even agreed with producers to not to write about his growing incoherent online rants for a bit and he still chickened out. At the end of the day Borchardt showed his true colors and yellow fits him.

While I’m sure that Ms. Dickey will never have to worry about Borchardt ever growing the balls to ever face her one day, it’s no secret he will send his stalker buddies just like Brown to follow her and harass her at every opportunity.

…. and if they can’t physically stalk her, they will make sure to stalk her online also.

  It’s no secret that BSL advocates brag about finding ways to kill innocent healthy dogs, especially those that they consider “pit bull type”dogs and BLS advocate Lori Janusky from Franklin TN. is no different.  A young woman made a irresponsible and horrible post:

…and it didn’t take long for BSL advocate and well know online harasser Jenny Pollman (just one of the many back yard breeders of “bird dogs” in the BSL advocacy…) to find it and post it in the hate group The Pit Bull Propaganda Machine Revealed run by Jeff Borchardt (Founder of non- profit group Daxton’s Friends) and buddy William Johnson.

It didn’t take long for Lori Janusky to chime in with her solution:

Instead of finding homes or surrendering the puppies, Lori Junusky suggests something even more vile: the euthanization of the litter of puppies based off the assumed breed alone.

Even making a point that she has a vet who will willingly euthanize a litter of puppies based off “her word”. A “one way trip to her vet”. It makes me wonder… exactly who is this vet that is allegedly euthanizing dogs that Lori claims she takes to that vet?

“She could have brought them here to me – I certainly as a rescuer would have taken them and give them a one way ride to my vet. And would have reached out had I seen this earlier.”

Who is Lori Janusky? Lori Janusky offers Pet training and sitting services in Franklin TN. It makes me wonder…. are their lost “pit bull type” dogs in Franklin TN? Has she pretended to adopt “pit bull” puppies from families, rescues and shelters and taken them to her “vet” and had them euthanized?

Either way, information has been sent to the multiple rescues in Franklin TN to find out if she has either adopted puppies or dogs and the information of her “rescuing” and the “one way trips to the vets”.

Who is to blame when it comes to a fatal dog attack? Bessie Flowers, 86 years old and brutally mauled by her daughters two “pit bull” dogs. Two dogs that have had numerous complaints about aggression issues.

  “Neighbors told WCCB that the animals had shown aggressive behavior in the past and had warned authorities about them.

One male neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said: ‘There have been two incidents with those dogs. They attacked other dogs here. No one has done anything about it. I constantly told people that they are going to kill someone.’

Police records show that officers were called to the home once before in 2013 to reports of two aggressive animals, but the reports were not substantiated.”

    Most “normal” people would look at the dog owner who obviously continued to own two dogs with previous aggression issues, however there is nothing “normal” when it comes to the bizarre behavior of Borchardt, the founder of Daxton’s Friends (the alleged “educational site” with zero educational material.).  Who does Borchardt blame for this horrible preventable tragedy?

A bunch of random strangers. Strangers that have absolutely no connection to the victim or the victim’s family. Strangers that had zero influence on the behavior of the dogs. That doesn’t matter to Borchardt, because it’s EVERYONES fault.  It’s YOUR fault! It’s that random person’s fault! It’s that homeless man’s fault! It’s hollywoods fault! It’s all of the veterinarians fault! The police departments fault! It’s Obamas fault!

Typical cowardly Borchardt fashion, he take the blame game a step further and encourages the online harassment of a woman (key word… woman) who dared to speak out against his childish tirade:

This is just another glaring example of why BSL is fundamentally flawed, because the focus is more about the humans and very little about the dogs and BSL advocates prove this every single day. They have made sure that breed specific legislation encourages discrimination (against the dog owners), it encourages racism (against the dog owners), it glorifies sexism and misogyny (against the dog owners) and educates unstable individuals in ways to hurt/kill/maim both animal and humans. The Breed Specific Legislation advocacy has becomes this festering cesspool of fear, hate and violence and that is the environment that they love.

Thank God we won’t stay silent and we will always speak louder than their hate… which scares them very, very, very much.
