Hello! Mun Ichigo here! I don’t know if there’s even going to be anyone reading this but I’m not dead. I wanted to get off my chest that lately tumblr roleplay and answering asks has been feeling more like a job than something I can genuinely enjoy so that’s why I haven’t been logging on.. anything. I’m still not sure what I can do for myself to make it feel more like a fun hobby than a job. But!!! I have been doing some discord RPs with some friends on a server and that environment felt much more casual and fun. So, I was listening to the Joker song from P2. Y’know, the song the Masked Circle made as propaganda for people to call Joker to solve their problems. Well, I was thinking of it in the context of P5 and how there’s a Joker in that game too. Next thing I knew, I ended up making a P5 parody of that song about the Joker from that game. Maybe I could use it for a P5 AU or something? Anyways I’ll just drop English lyrics I made based on the original Joker song’s Japanese lyrics and my P5 parody under the cut in case anyone is curious about this weird idea I had.

He placed a small coffee cake upon her desk with a little note that said "Happy Birthday From a Criminal!"

She had not even ordered anything besides a cup of coffee yet there was a cake sitting in front of her. Apparently the staff discovered it was her birthday, which was possible if they overheard her conversations. It was a welcome surprise!

Although what did they mean by “from a criminal” Lisa wondered. She peered towards the counter where the proprietor and his helping hand worked behind. She did hear rumors of boss taking in a criminal record kid..

Nevertheless he seemed like a kind enough boy. He probably doesn’t need anymore ostracization. It’s a pain Lisa knew all too well. She will enjoy this birthday cake just as she would any other!

Sometimes I think about what Lisa’s life could be like.. and feel bad for her??? I used to do some research on what life is like for mixed-race children in Japan and they have to deal with other people not speaking to them in Japanese because they don’t look Asian and how customer service can be persistent in trying to speak to foreign-looking people in English and giving them English menus in restaurants. With poor Lisa and her lack of English skills, it must be hard on her.

And imagine what she’d have to deal with if she ever decided to travel abroad to an English-speaking country? With the way she looks, everyone would assume and approach her speaking English thinking it’s her native tongue and it’d probably be difficult for others to swallow the fact her native language is Japanese.
