got a bunch of new followers and realized i never did one of these so

Hi!

My name is Folan! This is a dumb personal blog, where I post mostly about whatever thing I've become obsessed with in the moment. Mostly focused on the X-Men comics (Specifically one Illyana Rapsutin and my OC Atticus Moore which is logged under #illyatticus and #atticus moore, here's his intro!) and Magic the Gathering (and other card games under #tcgposting), but other stuff comes and goes as I feel like it.

I use any pronuns, but i prefer they/them! I'm located in small town Victoria, Australia, studying English Lit and Philosophy.

This blog is a safe space for trans, queer, POC folk and otherwise, so no TERFS or assholes. I am very liberal with my block button.

its insane to me that there are people genuinely annoyed that red skull is not in the marvel magic set in any capacity. like look, HYDRA being present is already pushing the 'nazi' line, but when depicted as mooks or generically evil dudes it's almost whatever, strucker is pushing it but thats a thing for another day

red skull is a nazi

a literal, actual, non-HYDRA covered nazi

and unlike all the other villainous characters from the other media theyve brought it, nazis are very real! and currently very much a problem! sauron isnt running for government! no ones family has been killed or persecuted by cybermen!

its crazy to me that no one can see "hey maybe if we let some of the weirdo nerds play a literal nazi as their commander that might be a problem. maybe itd be weird to announce red skull turbo as a competitive standard deck" might be something they want to avoid

its such a level of blindness or stupidity to not see how these things are not the same

but then i see the runaways or the x-men or that theyve got every original young avenger and my other part of my brain just goes giddy and i forget all abt it and all of a sudden i have like. 5 marvel commander decks
