Btw if we're mutuals and you feel like you always have to start the conversation I'm really sorry, my ADHD means I'm really bad at keeping track of people that aren't literally in front of me so it's very hard for me to keep up with Internet friends, even the ones I love the most cuz I'm either like "oh I wonder how they're doing?" and then do nothing about it or I'm like "oh so and so is messaging me yay! I wonder what's happened in the couple days since we last spoke!!" and they're like "so how was your summer" and I'm like "what?" and the last time we spoke was April.

I've had Artekai since December 2021, a little before I finished playing Horizon Zero Dawn, and he has grown and developed a lot since then. So! I think my favorite OC of all time is long overdue for a proper reference sheet and intro post :)

I basically looked at Aloy traveling alone for the majority of HZD and thought "but what if she had a friend? :("

I wanted someone who could complement her, who could challenge her worldview and provide a different perspective, yet, at the same time, would be able to support her, to understand where she was coming from, and to keep up with her when it truly mattered. I thought it was only fair for him to be a Banuk companion, too. So here he is!

Anyways, I'm very proud of him and very happy to show him off, so I can only hope this overview — though a little long-winded — does him justice :D
