This is a daily struggle.

Had to quit my job at a retirement home today, not long after getting it :/ they were severely understaffed and in lockdown, was pure madness. They wanted me to work on my own, doing the job of 4 people, after 3 days. Which feels like it should be illegal.

I know God put me there to recognize the virtue-building that could come from it. I absolutely loved seeing the smiles on the faces of the residents when they saw a young man coming to help them (considering all staff except me, were female). But it was not dignified work. Nevermind the low pay, which didn't bother me, it was simply too much responsibility to be thrown into, with such scattered training and job description.

Thank the Lord for the work I could do. I'm grateful to have experienced it. Now to find other work, so I can get my finances in order so that I can pursue religious life.
