i have been rewatching s1 and man, s2 really pales in comparison. idk how to describe it. watching s1 is just more enjoyable. there was less pressure and trauma, so a much better balance. also, i feel the characters had more and better interactions with each other. idk if the problem lies on the episodes being cut short or the writing. because this is how they planned the story to go. the pacing being too fast could be blamed on them having to cut the season short, but the problem with the plotlines isnt caused by that?

so not satisfied with how the story is progressing. with 1 ep left of s2, even if miranda turns out not to be evil and the “tribal curse” isnt really a curse, its just not good bc we have spent almost all this time with this foreshadowing. i do not like this portrayal of non-white characters and cultures.

as much as i thought that dumb patrol was funnny and refreshing after the barrage of heavy episodes this season i do NOT like the heavy implications that A) Miranda is evil and B) Roni is up to something bad.

recent ep has nicer moments and tone that is more in keeping with the series i think. like last ep was just so terribly out of place!!

that being said niles caulder just continues to be a Bastard Man I see!!! fuckin hell... cliff was making a good point about giving dorothy the safety and happiness she needs and out through the airlock he goes fuck!!
