A Destiel drabble I wrote or Sarah. I originally posted this on her world of text wall, but she said I should share it on my blog as well. Here goes.
"Dean..." Cas started, "Are you alright?"
Dean grunted, falling on the bed. Cas thought he heard something, though the sound was muffled by the bed sheets.
Quietly, Castiel rested his hand on the small of Dean's back, slowly slipping it under his shirt. Dean's skin was warm against his touch, almost relaxing. Cas couldn't help but notice how simple everything felt with Dean around. It was as though nothing else mattered in the world. Just the two of them, forever.
"Cas?" Dean's voice croaked, as he started to sit up, facing the other man on the bed. "Why do you stay with me? I put you through so much shit, you deserve someone better."
Castiel's heart sank and the sound of Dean's words. He wasn't going to cry. He couldn't let those words break him, not now; not ever. "Dean you know why I stay. I need you."
The room went silent. Even the howling wind outside seemed to know what was going on within the walls of their house. The two men just looked at each other, never breaking eye contact, not even blinking.
Dean moved first, resting his hand gently upon the back of Cas' head, before leaning in towards him. Dean saw a tear fall from the glowing blue eyes that belonged to the love of his life, before pressing his lips to Castiel's. The kiss was gentle, short, and sweet but it was the best kiss Dean ever had.
"I love you." Cas whispered against Dean's lips, before pulling Dean towards him one more time. "I love you more than sweaters."
The two of them fell back, Dean resting his head against the pillow behind him, Cas' resting on his chest. They lay like that for a while, Dean's fingers loosely laved in Castiel's soft, dark hair.Ā
"I love you, too." Dean finally said, before closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep.
I'm sorry I've been so MIA lately. I'm kind of dealing with a lot of personal stuff, and I had to cut myself off from the Internet. But I'm back, and I'm okay! :)

There are a lot of actors that I really love to watch, actors who I have fun watching - I think Johnny Depp is phenomenal. But I wouldnāt want that career as much as Iād like a career like Tom Hanks - he kind of represents the everyman
