Can’t recommend this remix album enough.. this one, the Clap! Clap! and Gilles Peterson’s reworks are the best.

Saw an exhibition of his work in Edinburgh a few days ago
Inspiring
Straight poetry from the man they call Slam
Feel so blessed to be able to make music with this guy.
MVC all day
Brainchild
Just got back from the most amazing weekend playing at Brainchild Festival (Â http://brainchildfestival.co.uk/Â )
Did 4 sets over the weekend, mixture of Djing and live stuff with Slam the Poet and Cecil B from MVC. The second live set we were joined by Nubiya from Nerija (https://soundcloud.com/nerijamusic) on sax and Joe from Sumochief ( https://soundcloud.com/sumo_chief ) on keys, was my favourite set i’ve ever done hands down
The other acts were incredible - Loyle Carner smashed it, Jackal Wyfreid and Maxwell Owin from Twinkat Soul brought the serious vibes at the Steez tent and as always Sumochief’s mainstage set was mindblowing. Too much more to mention and could shout out everyone who played/ was involved but am draaained so gonna keep it brief
Perfect example of an event/festival executed with compassion and care for detail - every single act was to such a high standard that it was unbelievable. The guys who ran this are onto something. Feeling so madly inspired
Roll on next year

Amazing afro-house/techno/dub/funk blend from Luo/London outfit Owiny Sigoma Band on Brownswood. This LP is dropping soon, super stoked for it
Fresh tune from one of my favourite producers rn
Clap! Clap! - Fever
holy santa claus shit
Been waiting for this album to drop for time! Worth the wait
Me and Slam The Poet (MVC) did a tune with the guys from Normanton Street/QM Records and they just dropped it on their first compilation LP..
The track is an old tune of mine that we did a live rework of with Slam freestyling on a theme. Tried to keep it as loose as possible and really happy with the result
Cop the download on Bandcamp - the other tunes are from Brighton/London artists and are worth checking out
There’s an exhibition at One Eyed Jacks Gallery in Brighton at the moment of a selection of photos of the USA from the Mossless collective - these two are my favourite. Go check it if you’re about
