LMAOO MAKE UP YOUR MIND FANDOM!! that Nomura statement is actually true, because there will be flashbacks to when Sephiroth was still 'good' and he will be playable, and also the technical meaning of 'protagonist' which means he's one of the main character of the story that will drive the plot forward. But the fandom's media literacy is practically 0. The hivemind & kneejerk reaction reigns supreme. One of the main reason that I'm not exactly active on FF7 twitter anymore. I tell ya It'll get worse on launch date..so brace yourself..

I already talked about this on Twitter lol but I really really like the way their outfits contrast….sephiroth wears shinra’s dark industrial colors and elfe wears avalanche’s natural tones, but they wield the same kind of weapon :3 Elfe’s white cape could also be seen as her own version of seph’s long silver hair too. Elfe even calls him “the silver haired soldier” when she sees him, lol.

It’s also really interesting how they both became high ranking individuals in their groups because of their strength and skill, despite being relatively young. (They were both experimented on so that explains it but Elfe doesn’t remember that for a while LMAO…)

I really don't like where I think they're headed with rebirth. At first I was hoping Zack was an illusion but it really seems like they're gonna make him a bigger part of the story than he ever was. They're even giving him the hero title alongside Cloud which is such an insult. I'm really hoping Sephiroth just ends everything this time around. 🙏🏼

Lol anon! Zack being alive in another dimension is my biggest sore point for Rebirth. SE is completely ignoring the story's integrity and tbh I'm contemplating whether I should play it or skip the nonsense.

Do you ever wonder why some people constantly bring up Sephiroth when talking about villains in latest FF games?

When 15 came out, fans of that game were like Ardyn is better than Sephiroth and now with the new one they are trying to compare the antagonists who i cant even remember to him? Why not with Emet, Kefka, Ultimecia or Kuja? The ones they claim are better? It's actually very funny.

Sorry for the late response Anon..but to answer your question, it's because Sephi is the blueprint! He's the It boy, the benchmark, The quintessential jrpg villain 🤭. It's annoying but that's what you get for being an awesome character & still unmatched 😁

Why are people blaming ff7 for others not liking 16? I swear these people will always say there are more ff games than 7 then proceed to keep that title in their mouths... Like why not blame ff9 the supposedly best ff game? 😅
