I feel like I’m the only one in the ons fandom that believes that Yuu will actually save everyone or at least attempt to do so. Everyone believes Yuu will only save Mika, half the fandom believes it’s because he chooses to do so out of his own volition and the other half believes it’s because he is a puppet of the First.

I personally think he will genuinly try to save everyone that he cares about (Mika + his squad), but he will try to do it by his own means, not ones set by Shikama Doji or even Guren/Mahiru. And this will show he isn’t actually a puppet. Yes, Ashera says he only has eyes for Mikaela, but I feel like he was talking about a Yuu that was created a thousand years ago, who knows how far the Yuu clones have evolved.

Idk, I feel like saying Yuu is a puppet completely reduces his character and, in the end, it would make him such a flat, one-dimensional main character. I hope that despite being a clone created by Shikama Doji, he still has his own will.
