i headcanon sebek has a crush on malleus, very one sided. And it's a lot more like sebek confusing his admiration, gratefulness and his conflict with himself as love. He doesn't understand it, panics about it, get's jealous when people who aren't close to the diafam act close to him. But the most he does is his usual comments, setting up a facade so no one can see what's inside. After all he views himself in a way, that if he isn't perfect, the best guard, the best knight, he isn't worthy of ever standing near malleus's side. (I rarely talk about this because people don't understand that you can have one sided ships that are really from one side and aren't always the healthiest)
