Supervised Community Work Last Saturday
The Vicar's wife kept me very busy last Saturday afternoon doing appropriately menial work in public as part of my ongoing discipline. Firstly she had me clean out the changing rooms and toilets at the local Sports field after they had been used on Saturday morning.
There was plenty of mud on the floor to be scrubbed clean.
As always it seems after such activities the toilets are left in an unhygienic and unpleasant state. It is however a deserved lesson and penance for me to get on my knees and clean up the most basic wastes.
After this I had to scrub the paths on one of the main streets where I could be seen at work on my hands and knees dressed in my long grey worsted dress and my baggy thick knitted below knee length wool cardigan. The humiliation of being dressed like this never leaves me so it is both a deserved and effective ongoing discipline for me.
My afternoon of deserved drudgery was completed by collecting litter in the local park and then picking up and clearing dog dirt.
I was tired and dirty by the time I had completed my work but I know I must pay back to my community for my misbehaviour and it is my privilege to have the opportunity to do so every week.
I would like to thank the Vicar's wife for supervising me and ensuring I am given no chance to ease up or avoid performing my menial work quickly and efficiently with no regard for my personal humiliation.
I finished the afternoon by praying for forgiveness prostrate before the altar again under supervision.
I am learning from ongoing penance and humiliation. I hope sharing this will allow other young women to see the potential consequences of selfish, thoughtless and immature misbehaviour. I pray they will not repeat my mistakes.
