sis. my first solo show is coming up in less than one month. this series of images are based around a subject matter that’s dear to me, sisterhood. analyzing the themes of the sibling relationship and exploring how it shapes the future of those involved in it. thank you @welcometojuniorhigh for giving me this space to exhibit my work. come out, bring a friend, bring your sister.
ending this month the way i began, with self reflection. actively monitoring my growth and the parts of me that i want to grow more, loving myself and the parts of me that need more love. self portraits allow me to connect with myself, look at the outer surface while ruminating on my current state of existence in this world. check ya self from time to time. #kodak #minolta
did you know, black girls have super powers? | if/when i have a daughter i will remind her of this every chance i get, because i know what is inside of me.
