“Keep breathing. Just keep doing it. It’s easy. In and out.” - Jenny Downham. This past month has been crazy busy for me. Grad school and two jobs are not an easy task. Last week was more stressful for me because I had to scrambled shifts to be able to do my other job for next week. I had to stay in a library from 10 am to focus on school work and my classes didn’t even start until 4 pm. I’m not complaining though. I love my jobs. I love learning new things everyday. And this past week showed me that I need to listen to my body is telling me. Sunday is when I had to take off work because the amount of work I’ve done over the week. To my best friend in the world: my father. Since the minute you saw me in the NICU, you said I have my mother’s hands. Then you saw that I needed saving. You gave me your blood when I needed blood transfusion. The scar I have my neck, I’ll forever thank you Daddy. Whenever I see his name on my phone, I’ll answer “Hola Menso” and he’ll say “Hola Bonita”. It’s our thing. On the third photo: I photobombed him by standing behind him.
