A good trader isn't someone who is able to make and lose lots of money in one shot, then take time off, but rather it is someone who can exhibit consistency in managing risk and maintaining a proper risk to reward ratio. Had a terrible entry for longs on Friday for US30 and instead of closing the position I decided to add another long based of the daily 100 MA pre London this morning. Diluted the risk and profited over 6 figures giving me a 12 x my risk on my second position. Closed my remainder of partials on my other trades and closed my US30 position fully. Rinse repeat.
