Pondering a possible meeting between Nero and Patty again (I swear they would get along) and I just remembered that Dante once made a thoughtless comment in the anime about “did you parents never teach you to” to the orphaned Patty, causing her to be so hurt she threw something at him and stormed out.

I would bet Nero, an orphan himself, would totally understand her outburst there.

You know, like:

“He did not say that.”

“Totally did.”

“I should have punched him harder.”

 (Don’t get me wrong, I love Dante, I know it was an accident to say that, but I just like Nero and Patty sometimes playfully ganging up on the “old man”)

Faded boots of onyx / coated in a dry rusted red settle a top the coffee table. He’s no clue of who this woman is, nor did he really care. A simple Tch is spat, poisoning the air ‘round He. Dante reached for one of the few pizza slices that remain; just how old were they? Two, three days? Who knew / they’d be DEVOURED all the same. Teeth naw && chomp at stale bread, silver / cerulean orbs making full, direct contact with the other’s. 

Through a muffled mouth; the Nephilim speaks; “Fuck off.”

         Yeah, she thought solemnly. This had to be a Sparda, she could almost feel the words fuck off drill into the side of her head. ‘He shouldn’t be eating’ that she thought to herself, her whole body tense as he took a bite. 

                            “Don’t be mean, I need your help.”

          That's right she always needed someone help no matter what dimension she may have been in. Now wasn’t a good time but she couldn’t help but shift in her sit.                      “I don’t,” she could feel it in the pit of her stomach no matter what the next words out of her mouth were going to be. It was going to piss him off no matter what.                     “I don’t remember who you are,” she paused. “More appropriately I don’t remember this dimension. . .” at all, she thought to herself.

         “Why do all the Sparda men look the same?” She didn’t mean to say that out loud but she couldn’t have been the only one thinking that.

         It was only when they hit their 40s and grew a personality did they start looking different. Her Dante grew his hair long, Nero was super short but he had the baby face going on so she could tell them apart. But this- who was this? Was it another Dante, Vergil or Nero? She really needed to stop dimension traveling in her sleep it was getting out of hand.
