tbh if troye is dating that guy i feel really bad for connor bc he was so in love with troye and he did everything for him, he always put him first and for what? for a fuckboy who broke his heart and who started dating a new guy 2months after? connor deserves better and i hope he'll find someone who will love him and treat him like he deserve. he deserves nothing but love and happiness. but troye is dead to me lol bye.
I think we need to be as open-minded as we can about this entire situation. Because we don’t know anything. Much as we (myself included) like to think we’re in the know, we aren’t. If the idea of Troye not being with Connor is upsetting, then don’t read into everything, just appreciate the theories and the edits. We also don’t know if Connor loves Troye. I’m with you guys when I say I believe he does, but I understand I have no irrefutable evidence to that fact.
Also, we cannot go judge this mystery boy. We know less about him than Troye or Connor and while I completely understand why you would be upset that Troye is dating him, that’s really no excuse to call him a fuckboy. The same can just as easily be said about Connor from a different perspective. And if Troye being with Connor is the only reason you love him, then you do not see the Troye that I see. I don’t mean this to be malicious, because I get where you’re coming from, I do, but there’s so much more to Troye than his love life.
Yes, this is a supposedly a blog centered around his love life, but I think it’s more an appreciation blog of the two of them. Because Troye is an amazing, inspiring, unbelievably kind boy who has changed my life and continues to change it with his music, his light, and his philosophy. And Connor is one of the most creative, gentlest, purest boys I’ve ever had the luck to stumble across.
If the mere idea that Troye may or may not be dating someone other than Connor means that he’s dead to you, then I implore you to let that go and appreciate Troye as an individual.
Because the Troye I’ve fallen in love with does not have a malevolent heart. The Troye I’ve fallen in love with would never break Connor’s heart, not on purpose.
That’s a long answer turned into a bit of a sermon, but I think we as his fans and Connor’s fans need to put this to rest. I’m a pathetic piece of Tronnor trash that would love anything more than to have it become canon, but I’m a bigger piece of trash for them individually.
Love them separately. Love them hard. Love them unconditionally.
