I dunno if I've ever mentioned this. Been trying to lose weight since June 2024 after getting diagnosed with Diabetic Retinopathy which was devastating for me. I used food and sweet stuff as a comfort, which ruined my health and made my weight balloon. (Doesn't help i have PCOS and insulin resistance). Whilst I feel shit for what I mess I got myself into. I am working on getting better.

Weight wise I was inching towards 300 pounds (was 292). Today so far, by trying to be healthier and look after my sugars and what not. Almost 57 pounds down. I do hope when I get another health issue addressed (a hysterectomy for prolonged bleeding), I can help shed it more by more exercising, which I badly want to do.

That being said, my blood pressure is improving, Im getting into clothes sizes I've not been able to get in for many many years. Hope by the end of this year, I can be close to being under 200 pounds. It may be slow, but proud of my progress.

I am also having therapy for my MH which is helping a lot, I am starting to feel happier and healthier than i was.
